Currently located at Avenida de los plateros 113-A, Andrés remains faithful to the true talent of the valuable craftsmen of México. He is the exclusive distributor of Daniel Espinosa (the most successful artist of México), Carlos Cabral, Felipe Cárdenas, Efraín Villegas, Héctor Salgado, Ignacio Gómez and Abdón Punzo. He also promotes the magnificent work of talented women such as Olga Hinojosa, Lila Parrilla, Rocío Guardia, Martha Garcia, Priscila Canales, Leticia Llera, Beatriz Llamosas, Susana Sanborns, Martha Vargas, Susana Gómez, Susana Cabrales and the internationally famous Emilia Castillo. This work can be seen only at the Andrés gallery.

Instead of group tours, they are conducting private tours with your own group of cohorts. What a fascinating and fabulous place to visit and to make a donation to a very worthy cause. The owners have opened their private home and private collection of Mexican art to anybody who wants to visit and only ask for a modest donation that goes towards local charities. It is impossible to absorb everything and only one visit as there is so much of interest to look at. A big shout out to the owners for their vision and generosity.

This was such an unexpected delight! From the minute i walked in the door, there was a personal greeting, invitation to view the interactive artwork and download a free APP to enjoy the gallery on my own or with their docents! The artwork literally comes alive thru the APP, when you touch it. There is a piano piece that you PLAY! Another piece where you and another person can each touch the side and then hold hands. You play music with your fingers on your partner's hand!

In the heart of Merida's Historic Center, Casa Estudio was born and continues to grow. It has evolved into a place where contemporary visual art and the solemn elegance of colonial architecture converge, creating an environment at once original and distinguished for its extensive collection of beautiful and masterfully done paintings, sculpture. drawings and prints.
There was some very interesting sculpture and visual art at this gallery. It is close to Santa Ana park and I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Stopped in during the Thursday art walk and whilst exploring the truly lovely and interesting art and grounds, we found ourselves having a great chat with Frank and his wife. There are a few sculptures i have my eye on and I am very keen to return for Christmas holidays!
