Neither dinosaurs nor birds, Pterosaurs ruled the skies from about 225 to 65 million years ago.

Superstition Farm, a working family dairy farm has just recently opened its doors for public tours. The Stechnij family, all native Arizonians, own and operate the 27 acre dairy in East Mesa. Supersitition Farm allows guests to "Gather their Senses" by SEEING the day to day work on the farm, HEARING the sounds of the farm life, TOUCHING the animals, TASTING the food on the farm and SMELLING that fresh country air. The farm tours include a hayride tour of the dairy, education in the resource center where guests will learn the tools of the farm trade and how their milk gets to their refrigerator.

Designed by landscape architect LeRoy Brady, the Desert Southwest's largest rose garden, where nearly 8000 rose bushes bloom in the desert. Take time to smell the roses by taking a stroll through The Garden and view its tremendous number of vibrant colors, flower forms and growth habits.
