The XVIIth historic winery at Château de Chamirey has become a place to visit and exchange about viticulture, winemaking techniques and tasting experiences. Everyone is welcome to make himself at home and enjoy the winery for an hour, a morning, a full day. We will be happy to welcome you for vineyars visits, tastings, wine-paired meals and business meetings!
« I had the opportunity to stay for a short period at Les Maisons de Chamirey, in Mercurey with my wife and friends from Gstaad. I simply had a wonderful and unexpected experience in this lovely and peaceful guesthouse located in the heart of the vineyards and I feel like sharing it because it is really worth it ! The house is well decorated and arranged and the location is just outstanding : when you like wines and nature. The guesthouse is just 100 meters from the "Table d’Hôtes » of Château de Chamirey estate, where we had a great lunch with perfectly paired wines overlooking the vineyards. The bedding, the breakfast, the kitchen accessories, … everything is well thought and enjoyable. A big thank you to Madame Pauline for her kind hospitality. We will definitely come back during the harvest next year or even earlier if we can ! Bourguignon un jour : Bourguignon toujours !!! Roger »

Our historic House, which first began producing wines in the Cote Chalonnaise in 1875 has opened its doors for a cellar visit offering a unique experience in the village of Mercurey. You will be invited to discover the history of the Rodets with two fascinating short films. The Antonin Rodet cellar tour features a visit to its cellars complete with two short films about the House and its origins. Visitors are then invited to explore a "museographic" area displaying Antonin Rodet's very first posters and artefacts. The visit is then completed with a tutored tasting of four of its major wines. The tour lasts 45 minutes and unfolds in different stages, in different places and in three languages: French, English and German. More than just a simple visit, this cellar tour - the only one of its kind in the Cote Chalonnaise - allows visitors to witness a snapshot of the life of the Rodet family and to take a welcome break to discover the vines and wines of Burgundy.
