This is an easy 1 hour drive from Broken Hill and well worth it. The entry cost was $8 per car and we needed exact change to put in the envelope at the entrance. We did the river drive and saw the site of the steamboat explosion with the boiler still intact. We then did the billabong walk which is advertised as 1.5 hours but took us 1 hour. You also get to see the ruined homestead. Make sure you visit the Woolshed - it is amazing and you can walk through it. We enjoyed our day here and would recommend.

Arrived to great welcome, not busy so had beautiful site on lakes edge. Great price for park and lovely atmosphere.
