City is known for their seniors, being more affordable than other cities in the Inland Empire, is no surprise plenty of good people calls this city home. Their public library has been upgraded, and looks it. Service was stellar in the short time it took to obtain a replacement, for the shattering low price of $1. Bathrooms looked a little worse for wear, but nothing that could not be fixed with willing hands. Yes, it is nice to lounge around and catch up on magazines, books, even online activities are offered via computer, so the place is inviting and a specially pleasant oasis during the hot summer months. Stay indoors, and be a part of the activities offered throughout the year for its Patrons. 4 Stars.

As the home of the Lake Elsinore Storm, the single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, the Diamond at Lake Elsinore hosts over 100 events a year. High-quality professional baseball mixed with between-inning frivolity makes for an entertaining evening. The array of local craft beers, while somewhat limited, is still satisfying. New 4-top seating allows for socializing while cheering on the home team. It also allows for servers coming to your table to take and deliver orders without standing in sometimes long concession lines. Top-rated logo items are draws to the souvenir shop, where you can usually watch the Padres' game that night. Kid-friendly park, grassy berm and Mascot-of-the-year, Thunder, complete the family entertainment package.

Vindemia is a family owned and operated winery in Temecula beautifully nestled on the Temecula hillside with the perfect blend of European style and a casual Southern California feel. Priding themselves on growing and harvesting their grapes and olives to bring out the best ripeness in the fruit for crafting quality wines and quality olive oil with estate olives.
A very expensive tasting, considering the tasting shack and quantity poured for tasting. For our group of six, also a very slow tasting, as not that much wine to taste, and long intervals...
Very different and very expensive wines, also, so the old truth: asking high prices is not crazy, paying is...
A clear 'Tripadvisor disappointment', as no match for the rating.

This place is fantastic for anyone who loves the outdoors. Lots of hiking trails to choose from. Great topography and views. We were there on a Saturday and it was not crowded. Put on your walking shoes, grab your kids and get outdoors. Note there is a fee. $4 adults an $3 for kids 2-12, but worth it.

Western Science Center is home to a fascinating array of Native American artifacts and Ice Age fossils that were unearthed at Diamond Valley Lake. You'll be moved by "Max", the largest mastodon found in the Western United States, as well as "Xena", a Columbian mammoth. Let your imagination run wild as you walk on tempered glass which houses "Little Stevie", a large mastodon installed beneath the museum floor to re-create the actual dig site.
The Western Science Center (WSC), formerly the Western Center for Archaeology & Paleontology, is a museum located near Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet, California. The WSC is home to a large collection of Native American artifacts and Ice Age fossils that were unearthed at Diamond Valley Lake, including "Max", the largest mastodon found in the western United States, and "Xena", a Columbian mammoth.
Opened in 2006, the museum has been designed to provide world-class facilities for the research, curation, and presentation of the nearly one million specimens discovered during the development of Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet.
The museum features a 156 feet long exterior walkway that holds a life-on-Earth time line. The welcome lobby features 24 feet high walls with re-created paleontological strata and reproduction fossils projecting from the walls.
The tour of the permanent gallery begins with interactive exhibits on the natural history of Domenigoni and Diamond Valleys, continuing through displays on European and Native American culture and history from the area. Among the artifacts on display are pieces donated by the Domenigoni family, the original settlers of the valley, and the Soboba band of Luiseño Indians that inhabited the area before them.
Visitors can view two movies on the construction of Diamond Valley Lake, and the fauna of the Pleistocene in the Diamond and Domenigoni Valleys, shown in a 270 degree immersive theater that shakes with the movies. From there, visitors proceed to the paleontology gallery, replete with fossils recovered and studied by scientists from the San Bernardino County Museum. The highlights of this gallery are the skeletons of "Max", the largest mastodon ever discovered in the western United States, and "Xena", a Columbian mammoth. Also featured in the gallery is "Li'l Stevie", one of the most complete mastodons known from the western United States, who is displayed unreconstructed and still partially buried as found when it was first uncovered. The gallery also features the skeletons of a Harlan's ground sloth, and interactive displays on the disciplines of archaeology and paleontology. Visitors can also visit temporary traveling exhibits in the 3,000 square feet temporary exhibit area.
The museum also features a full-scale simulated archaeology and paleontology dig site, which opened for its first student excavations in the spring of 2009. It is currently being used by WSC staff, in association with local K-12 schools and colleges, to teach proper excavation methodology to students. It is also open for museum visitors to view an active dig site in process.

Motte Historical Museum an Antique & Classic Car SpectacularEveryone will enjoy and appreciate the historic Motte family collection of antique automobiles. This 20 car display ranging from 1910 – 1969 is housed in a rustic 9,000 sq. ft. Barn, an attraction in its own. The museum includes antiques, community history and a cozy cinema featuring automobile related documentaries and movies. Group to
The location of this museum is listed in several different cities depending on where you look, and it's probably got equal claim to all of them based on the map. But for drive planning purposes, head to Romoland and you'll find it on Hwy 74. Maybe a few dozen early to mid age cars inside and some period side rooms. There's a donation box for entrance fee, but the person behind the desk didn't even give me a glance, hello or seem interested in providing any information, so I browsed quickly and left. It looks like a lot of interesting auto history could be learned with a tour and that's what I would be interested in paying a donation to receive. You could probably spend an hour here and that's about it.

Anyone who likes to see old trains and trolleys, anyone with an interest in history, anyone with a desire to have a picnic in a place that reminds you of America in the past, will enjoy the Orange Empire Railway Museum. They also sponsor car/truck shows, Pumpkin trains in the Fall, Santa trains in December, and a host of other special events, including Thomas the Tank Engine rides. A place for young and old alike, a great place for Grandpa and Grandchildren to enjoy a picnic and a train/trolley ride. I would highly recommend this attraction.

Wiens Family Cellars is a Temecula winery located 7 miles East of the 15 on Rancho California Road in Temecula, Southern California. Wiens is especially known for their quality red wines, "Big Reds". When planning your trip to the Temecula wineries make sure to visit Wiens for a tour, wine tasting, and a picnic on our patio.
Our first stop for wine tasting. There were many other wineries but we picked this one as it seemed a bit smaller than some others. It was really busy (long weekend) but we got in alright and had some really great wines to taste. We especially liked the port dessert wine. Light and sweet but not syrupy at all.

This water park is located in an area with limited fun activities. It's a nice addition to Perris. It's a beautiful, clean facility with several pools. I went for water aerobics. But the other pools were all brimming with excitement and activity of different sorts. I know that a park like this is very expensive to build. But I thought it was slightly expensive. The class I was attending met twice a week at $5.00 each visit...$40.00 dollars a month. And the young lady that taught the class obviously had very limited experience at what she was doing...if the exercises aren't taught right, they are of very little use.
