we loved our day at copper falls! we did the doughboys nature trail first—two waterfalls and a great hike, then picnicked at the lake and the girls swam, and then we finished with the red granite falls hike. made for a perfect day while exploring northern wisconsin!

$5 entrance fee well worth it. Don’t be cheap- pay it. They do check your car to see if you did. They do a great job maintaining the trail and the pit toilets were the cleanest we’ve ever seen. Trail to Morgan Falls is pretty much handicap accessible- could take a stroller. The falls are beautiful. The trail to St. Peter’s Dome is another story. Don’t go if you aren’t into rocks, roots, water crossings, or steep inclines. It’s a beautiful lookout so if you’re into hiking, it’s not to be missed! We took our dog on both trails. We went on a rainy day and was still gorgeous! If you’re in debate, do it!
