The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long, "Nine Dragon river delta" or simply Vietnamese: Đồng Bằng Sông Mê Kông, "Mekong river delta"), also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây) or the South-western region (Vietnamese: Tây Nam Bộ) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. I have been living and working in Southern Vietnam for 10 years and I love this country very much. On our first time to visit the North, we decided to travel to Ha Giang, Ban Gioc Waterfall, and Ba Be Lake. We chose Conical Travel according to one of our friends who did the trip with them. The six-day trip amazed and impressed us with the beauty of the natural landscape in the moutainous areas. Each of the destinations we visited has its own mesmerizing features and we had chance to interact with the local people. Our kids had great lessons about how the people in these regions survive without the modernization. In short, the trip was very very very excellent. We love Vietnam so much, from the bottom of our hearts! Andrew, Lorna & kids

Chose this tour company thru my canadian travel agent. Excellent choice. It was a private tour. Our guide, our driver my husband and I. It was a good choice considering the covid 19 epidemic. From beginning to abrupt end of our tour we had excellent knowledgeable guides and top drawer accommadations. The tours were well planned and gave us a good understanding of their homeland and what made them proud. We had time to investigate things on our own as well. Unfortunately we had to leave one week early but plan to return one day. We would not hesitate using this company again. We are in our 60's and our activities met our abilities. Felt safe and well informed with necessary changes. We were given a refund for places we were unable to go to

As a couple we were very interested in a morning out exploring the floating market and more. Upon reading the reviews posted about Bin, his experience and care we knew right away he was the guide we wanted to lead us. Straight away upon meeting him, we were not disappointed. Bin has a natural way about him; a caring person who genuinely wants to give his clients the best experience. We had a lovely time learning all about the local area. Bin’s care and attention to detail made our day memorable indeed.

Jordan our tour guide was fantastic, conducting and providing all information in both Vietnamese and English to accomodate for our group. He was friendly, proffessional and helpful- offering to take group pictures of us, helping us on and off of the boats and also ensuring there was a vegetarian friendly meal for myself. The tour itself was fantastic and well worth the money spent and deserving of a tip for all of his hard work and effort throughout the day! Couldn't recommend more, thank you Jordan! ????

If you don't have a lot of time in Sai Gon, so why don't you go to Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta together? This is the best itinerary to explore 2 famous places in the South of Vietnam for Muslim Tourist with Halal Lunch. We start the visit of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels which consist of an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Have lunch at a halal local restaurant then we continue visiting the My Tho City, take a leisurely boat trip to Tortoise Island. Then disembark and go for a gentle stroll through the picturesque orchards and fruit garden. We spent a day cruising the Delta on small paddle boats in the canals and larger motorised wooden boats between the Islands. The river is so fertile that although rural it is densely populated. People live, trade, go to school and travel along the riverbanks. The Delta is called the "rice basket of Vietnam" as the surrounding land is farmed for rice, coconuts and vegetables

Our guide (Bo?) was very nice and friendly. We went to a lacquer art factory and gallery that employs people affected by agent orange and the many details and painstaking steps it takes to make the beautiful pieces. If you want to buy a small picture or piece, make sure to bring between 500k or 1mil dong. We were told 60% goes to the the workers. The tunnels and bunkers were super interesting and we had the opportunity to go in them and really experience and start to understand what it must have been like for the people who used them. There were lots of displays and demonstrations on how clothing, shoes, food and such was prepared as well. Lunch was in a nice location with interesting and tasty Vietnamese dishes. These were by far our favorite parts of the trip. We also took a boat to an island on the Mekong. We saw bee keeping, singing, and fruit gardens on the island. Each station and place to visit has something to sell or tips to give. So if interested, just make sure you have enough small bills and dong. Possibly even 500k more. We did not realize all the extra, so started to run out of cash dong towards the end of the trip. Overall the trip was nice and the Cu Chi tunnels are definitely a highlight of the tour!
