The prophet Mohammed's birthplace is Islam's spiritual center and is strictly off-limits to non-Muslims. The pillars of Islam state that all Muslims with the means must undertake Hajj, a pilgrimage to Mecca, once in their lifetime. Those who visit the holy city are rewarded not just by proximity to landmarks and religious sites crucial to the religion, such as the Masjid Al Haram (Holy Mosque), the Mountain of Light, the Black Stone and the Well of Zamzam, but with the forgiveness of all their sins.

In the Muslim religion, Muhammad received his first revelation from God on this mountain.
A nice walk with my husband and child, great views all the way up, encountering many stalls and gift shops from start to finish and, once you reach the top of Jabal Noor you see the cave of Hira - limited in size and space with a nice view of Mecca and the sight of the new clock tower - once able to see the Kaaba from there but now with the new construction and buildings not possible, its nice view to visit night time before fajr.

This holy stone is the eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba, the ancient stone building towards which all Muslims pray. Many Muslims believe that the stone (originally white but now black from absorbing the sins of man) fell from heaven during the time of Adam and Eve.
The Black Stone, al-Ḥajaru al-Aswad, "Black Stone") is a rock set into the eastern corner of the Kaaba, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is revered by Muslims as an Islamic relic which, according to Muslim tradition, dates back to the time of Adam and Eve. The Black Stone was originally a single piece of rock. It is surrounded by a silver frame which is fastened by silver nails to the Kaaba's outer wall. Polished smooth by the hands of pilgrims. Islamic tradition holds that it fell from heaven . Muslim pilgrims circle the Kaaba as a part of the tawaf ritual during the hajj and many try to stop and kiss the Black Stone, emulating the kiss that Islamic tradition records that it received from Muhammad.[SAW] Muslims do not worship the Black Stone.

Located a few meters away from the Holy Kaaba these are the two small hills named Safa and Marwa and all are within the Masjid Al Haram. The distance between the two hills is approximately 450 meter within which Muslim pilgrims perform Sai during Hajj and Umrah. There are multiple floors to perform Sai and the total area is fully air conditioned. There is a dedicated floor for those who are using wheel chairs. One have to run seven times in between starting from Safa which takes approximately one hour.

The most stunning place in the world. The best time for performing Umrah is from October till March, as the weather is very cool and pleasant for the pilgrimage.

Huge modern mall clean with excellent parking. Even if not shopping would recommend it for walking in the 43 degree C heat. The food court is somewhat limited with basic McDonald’s and Burger King etc. needs a few good restaurants. There is a Panda supermarket

I read in alot of comments here people are saying Adam and Eve met on Mount of Rahmah but if read the authentic books of history scholars mention many different other points with authentic verses too about place of Adam and Eve where they met . But Mount of Rahmah is not mentioned anywhere in this regard. Wallah o Aalam
