Full day tour from Ohrid to National Park Mavrovo. On the way to Mavrovo, we will visit some towns and picturesque mountain villages. We will drive in the mountain area with beautiful views of canyons and rivers and variety of plants. National Park Mavrovo is the biggest national park in Macedonia. The road passes through the valley of the Black Drim River, and two other artificial lakes – Lake Debar and Lake Globocica.

There we will meet our host and mountain guide and inform us of the next 2 days program. Saturday and Sunday we will dedicate them to activities and getting to know the wonderful area. Our return begins Monday morning and we will stop in Durrani for the ultimate enjoyment of nature. 4 days full of nature and activities!

After breakfast, leave for Mavrovo National Park. . In the Mavrovo National Park, you can enjoy sumptuous landscapes such as Lake Mavroro and the canyon of Radika. You will stop at the Monastery of Saint Jovan Bigorski, located on the heights of the canyon, which represents one of the most beautiful monasteries in Macedonia. You will make a stop in the small village of Janche, in which a resident of the village invested in the construction of houses using materials of the time, and have lunch in his restaurant You will head to the Duf waterfall for a short hike of about twenty minutes. Stop at Tetovo to discover its painted Mosque of Sarena Dzamija dating from the 15th century. Painted inside and out, it represents one of the most beautiful mosques in Macedonia

On this tour, not that far from Ohrid we will visit the St. Bigorski Monastery, a calm beautiful place where we can enjoy and even talk with some of the monks.
