CW Fudge Factory specializes in homemade fudges and candies with a variety of flavors. They are somewhat unique to our area. The delectable candy and fudge creations they have are homemade fresh each day. Unlike some store bought chocolates their delicious little morsels contain no preservatives. William says his chocolates are carefully fashioned from his own recipes and that candy making to him is like an art. He says it is a science with trial and error to devise just the right ingredient for just the right recipe. Everything including temperature and even humidity of the room he is cooking in is carefully controlled to produce a perfect fudge. At CW Fudge Factory you will find a variety of flavors in fudges and chocolate candy. They specialize in fudge but carry a selection of candies, local made jams, jellies and an assortment of Gift Baskets!
This is a wonderful little gem! It offers delicious treats made in house & friendly service. Definitely worth a trip!

Island Visions is an eclectic gallery of local art and jewelry plus curiosities from the US and aroud the globe. In the colorful, artistic village of Matlacha, Florida you'll find a gallery featuring a fabulous collection of art and curiosities by talented artists and artisans both local and global. Owners Steve and Lisa Timcak had a vision - a vision of a gallery that captured the essence of the village of Matlacha where an old Florida feel still exists. They wanted their gallery to portray the spirit of the town, a place where all are welcome and being unique means you fit right in. Steve and Lisa have fashioned a vibrant and welcoming tropical island atomshpere where you can enjoy great music (and ice cream) while you peruse their eclectic gallery. Steve can be found in his other galleries, Timeless and Another Time creating his Steampunk lamps and jewelry. Come see a bit of old Florida with a modern vibe where you can discover "MatlaChic".

My husband and I had eaten at the Blue Dog and decided to stop here and walk around. Even in the off-season, the park was busy. The park is very nice and clean, with no litter or problems. It was quite peaceful and there was a lot of parking available.

We were greeted by a cheerful woman and since COVID-19 is still an issue, masks were required. We found Bert's shirts, koozies, mermaid cups, and small gifts. The woman was kind and helpful. The prices were reasonable.

As everyone said: small. But for us, since Matlacha parking is so bad, we came later and found a car pumping out (after lunch time). This park is a small restroom house by the fishing bridge. On the west side of the bridge & south side of the road. There is a bench. Be careful there no railing by the water. We just soothout watching the water coming in/out of the pass here. Then back to reality !!
