built under command of Yousof Khan Harati, sheriff of Mashhad and supervisory of Russian engineers in late Qajar era. this building is a perfect example of mixture of Iranian and Russian architecture in that time.
it is one of unique house one can visit in Mashhad because most of such houses have been destroyed in holy shrine expansion program. architecture of this house is also unique because it is a combination of Iranian and Russian methods and also because the owner was a governmental agent in that time.
