Golf at the Angus Glen Golf Club offers beauty, challenge, first-class service and maybe best of all, variety. Angus Glen Golf Club is a public golf course and is known internationally for hosting PGA Tour events on both of its championship golf courses. Each time you choose to play Angus Glen, you are walking the same fairways that the world’s best golfers have competed on. The South Course hosted the 2002 Canadian Open, when John Rollins defeated Justin Leonard and Neal Lancaster in an exciting sudden death playoff. Capturing the title for the second consecutive year Jim Furyk out duelled Vijay Singh on the North Course to win the 2007 Canadian Open.

Upper Unionville Golf Club is one of Markham’s premier destinations for Championship golf. A classic Doug Carrick design of a 6,728 yard, par-71 course satisfies and challenges golfers of all skill levels, pairing course aesthetics expertly manicured with an exciting strategic layout. Add to this a newly renovated clubhouse and you have one of the best golf and banquet environments in the GTA.

Originally built in the 1950s, Markham Green comprises the 9 valley holes of the former IBM private 18 hole golf club. It is a challenging run because of the river/creek running through and wooded areas. The course is very well maintained and has greens that are usually fast. The staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place to spend a couple of hours with friends and family.
