“If you think of gardening as an art form, Ayrlies is the best expression of that art”. Ayrlies is one of the select few New Zealand Gardens of International Significance. Bev McConnell presents a garden that is nearing maturity and is recognised for both design and horticultural excellence. The millennium year spurred a new project creating a wetland in the surrounding 10 acres which is now home to many native and visiting wildlife.
An excellent place to spend an afternoon. Wonderful, friendly staff, beautiful scenery and some of the most interesting plants I've seen. Take along a picnic and sit and enjoy the bird song and soak up the vitamin C.

All things Pacific Island are celebrated at the annual Pasifika Festival, a weekend-long food and culture event dedicated to the region's culture. Held in the sprawling green space of Western Springs, this free festival is made up of 11 nationally themed "villages," each with its own stage and market featuring craft stalls and food carts serving up island cuisine.

This internationally popular phenomenon promises a vivid experience where you can become the main character of a captivating mystery. An adventure, where teams are locked in a themed room with a common goal to break out within an hour. To escape, you will need to find clues and solve unique puzzles.
William takes great care of the visitors and the Escape rooms. We felt very welcome, a briefing was on point without revealing too much to spoil the game. We played the submarine and managed to get through with couple of hints. You can definitely see the effort being put into the props in the rooms to really make you immersed in the experience. Will be back for the other rooms.

You Drive the Boat Located near Auckland Airport, Superthriller puts you in the driving seat of a jetsprint boat - think high performance go kart on water and you get the idea of what this is like. Excitement and adrenaline as you race against the clock. Perfect for friends, workmates, clubs to celebrate special occasions or just come down and have fun. Blast around the course, pedal to the metal and see if you can score a place on the leaderboard. Ultimate fun and challenge In a NZ developed, owned and operated company

It's fun on demand at Rainbow's End so how will you play it? With over 20 rides and attractions, there's something for everyone. Try out the brand new AA Driver’s Town! This is an amazing attraction for children up to 12 years old where kids are be able to get behind the wheel in miniature Suzuki Swift vehicles and try out their driving skills in a miniature town. From thrill rides like Stratosfear, Fearfall and Power Surge to family fun on the Log Flume, Bumper Boats and Karts there is something everyone will enjoy. Kidz Kingdom is also at Rainbow’s End and is especially for kids 8 years and under. There are lots of rides for kids and the whole area is fully covered so it’s a perfect place to visit rain or shine. Rainbow's End offers great value for money as you only pay one entry price which covers all your rides as many times as you like! Located only 20 minutes drive from the CBD with lots of free parking. See you soon at Rainbow's End! Open every day except Christmas Day.
