Not impressed. Expensive, people were rude, and most of the stuff was junk. A good garage sale is cheaper and better stuff. Maybe if you are looking for something specific, you might be able to find it, but you are going to pay dearly. Not worth the trip

The Park is, well, certainly not as inviting as Chain o' Lakes State Park. The campsites are poorly maintained, the water quality of the river is rather poor, and litter is everywhere. The parking lots are used for hook ups and the out houses are in a general state of disrepair.

Did not expect to find this great historical site here but glad we did. We had a very friendly guide who took her time and answered all of our questions. We very much enjoyed our tour.

Exploration Station...a children's museum is a hands-on exploration and discovery museum for children and their families, teachers and other caregivers. At Exploration Station children can climb inside the tower of a castle, drive a fire truck, fly an airplane, shop in a grocery store, be a mechanic, dig for dinosaur bones, and much more! Children of all ages are welcome at the museum, however, the majority of the exhibits are designed for children between the ages of 2-8 years old. We have an enclosed sensory area for our little explorers as well! Children must be accompanied by an adult and adults must be accompanied by children when visiting the museum.
Kids have a great time there. Recently remodeled with new stuff. Cheap admission. They don't want the kids there running wild though. Parents need to be at least in the building. They have staff that do shows periodically during some days of the week. Large playground on the grounds. Large area for picnics and the usual park type BBQ grills if parents want to make some hotdogs and burgers.

The Letourneau Museum was the home of Bourbonnais's first mayor, George R. Letourneau. In 1986, it was moved to its present location and restored. Now headquarters of the Bourbonnais Grove Historical Society, it preserves the local history of this community, which was settled by French-Canadians. The museum sits on the grounds of the Adrien Richard Heritage Preserve, an historical arboretum.
The Bourbonnais historical society meets in an historical home which is opened at certain times during the summer. They sponsor many events and have done a wonderful job on the French history of this town. They send out a newsletter to all members. The George R. Letourneau is circa 1850's abd is on Stratford drive in Bourbonnais. The membership is $7.00 for seniors, $10.00 for individuals, $15.00 for a family per year

We had so much fun in this Escape Room. They have 2 rooms to choose from and I would say they are best for 4-6 people at a time. It was pretty challenging and most appropriate for people at least 14 years old and up. We thought our host was great- really helpful and easy to understand. The only reason I have it rates 4 stars instead of 5 was because it seemed more like a bar when we walked in, but once we talked to the host he was very helpful. They do have drinks available at the bar including coffee. I thought it was a really fun experience and can't wait to go back and try the other room!

This is a fun place to visit for a drink with friends. You are able to play music of your choice from the juke box. The average age varies depending of the happenings of the town. Of course it really starts hoppin with people after 10pm.
