Situated in the heart of the city this huge temple is a divine place. The smaller temples of Aiyappa, Anjaneya, Ganesha, Durga Parameswari & Chandramouleeswara add to the splendour. The Kaasi Bhageerathi theertha from where water can be collected & used for abhishekam of the Shiva lingam by devotees is so unique. A must experience place.

The temple is located in the heart of the city. Parking may be an issue but you can park your vehicle at the roadside. The goddess is one of the forms of Shakti. You get a positive energy after having Darshan here. Temple is clean and maintained. I visited during Corona time and all the Covid protocols were found to be followed.

Visited a temple in the morning. Very well maintained temple. Most of southern temples are clean and this is no exception. Ample space to accommodate multiple devotees at a same time. The water fountain inside temple is done beautifully. Best time to visit will be during Dussehra time when the entire temple will be decorated but be ready for heavy crowd. Good temple nearby surrounding and pear was amazing.

The temple Deity is Raja Rajeshwari it’s the oldest temple and was made of molten brass, with four platforms or ascents and on the highest of them was an image of the size of a man made of gold with eyes composed of two red rubies. A Place which has to be seen around Mangalore area. Currently they are Renovating this place to Restore the Temple. The Renovation work will at least take an year or so, however you can still visit the temple to feel the Vibes. The Locals here say this is one of the Powerful Goddess and know to give a Great Positive vibe.
