What to do and see in Manchester, England: The Best Lessons & Workshops

January 25, 2022 Major Galusha

Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

Manchester Wine School

A very warm welcome to Manchester Wine School. The school is owned by Simon, a critically acclaimed wine writer. We are local and independent (so do not sell wine) and we run fun and informal Wine Tastings and Wine Courses in Manchester City Centre. We also host corporate events and private wine tastings across Greater Manchester and North Cheshire for people who enjoy wine and would like to learn more about it; no previous wine tasting experience is necessary. We focus on enjoying wine and learning about it in a relaxed and friendly setting. We also offer the highly desirable WSET professional qualifications in wine. We now offer online wine tastings as well, perfect for virtual get togethers with friends or work events

I had this bought for me as a Christmas present and had a really great time at the event. Jonathan was really friendly and funny and the time simply flew by. We made some great chocolates, had lots of fun, and got messy in a “back to your childhood” way. Even better you get to eat the results of your fun on a well spent morning. I would definitely recommend this experience either as a gift or as a treat to yourself.

We have one of these bars in Leeds and it's awful. This one in Manchester is absolutely amazing!!! Booked a table for friends birthday at 17.30 and the atmosphere was amazing from the moment we walked it. Excellent drinks, staff up for having a laugh and joining in and a fantastic mix of music. Thank you so much for an outstanding start to our night. On our way home we said we wished we had stayed all night. Definitely be back again. Keep doing what you're doing!!
