Showcasing the work of leading wildlife artist Robert E Fuller, this gallery is a must for anyone who loves the countryside. On show are detailed paintings, limited edition prints and photographs of wildlife from around the world. Informative films and live nest cameras relaying footage from cameras hidden in animal nests in the surrounding countryside are also available to watch. Robert is recognised as a leading authority on wildlife and his TV animal documentaries have been broadcast internationally. He spends months in the field watching and photographing wildlife and this depth of understanding makes his work sing out. Original oil paintings and bronze sculptures of wildlife all come to life through his inimitable, realistic style.
Wonderful relaxing visit after a local walk to see the beautiful animals and birds on nest cam and paintings.

I love it here, I’d much rather go to the palace than drive to York for the big chain cinemas. Plenty of legroom and reasonably priced snacks and drinks.

A friendly and inclusive environment to learn recipes and cooking techniques, we can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 students at a time, socially distanced in a comfortable setting. A place to cook, eat, drink and enjoy a great day out while focusing on great Yorkshire produce with fish from the East Coast, game from the Moors and meat from across the county. Courses ranging from classic seafood to home baking and everything in between, something for everyone of all ages and skill level. Located in the heart of Malton at Talbot Yard forms part of a great day out in Yorkshire's Food Capital. Great for yourself, as a couple, a gift for others or a group of friends together, The Cooks Place is a great place to develop your passion for cooking or learn some essential life skills (over a glass of wine of course).
We visited the Malton cookery school on Saturday 4th may to take part in the Yorkshire meats cookery course. This was a Christmas present for my partner who was slightly on edge about what to expect really. We were welcomed very warmly by Gilly who was absolutely fantastic. We expressed to Gilly that we had wished to stay the evening and sit at the chef’s table that evening. Gilly was so helpful and helped find us a local hotel to stay in, and also squeezed us on to the chef’s table. The meats cooking class was amazing and so informative. I and my partner learnt so much, especially what to do with a full chicken and how to not waste any bits. I would highly recommend this course to anyone of any skills set because Gilly guides you through the whole way and is there to help you. In the evening we did the chef’s table at the cookery school. On Saturday evening it was 2 young Malaysian chef’s from the company ‘Mak Tok’. The boys were absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious! There was a great night had by all with everyone socialising really well, and a complete range of ages and people. Malton itself is absolutely beautiful and is such a fantastic little town. We can’t wait to revisit, do another cookery course and take part in another chef’s table. We will be revisiting to attend the farmers market Too. Can not recommend this place enough. We wish we lived closer because we would be there monthly for the chef’s tables. Great day, experience and value for money.

FIND. SOLVE. ESCAPE. An immersive one of a kind 60 minute adventure. Your team will locked in a themed room for 60 minutes. Find clues, solve puzzles and complete your mission to escape.... before your time is up. Great for friends, families, work colleagues and team building.
A really well thought out Escape Room!! We went as a family with two adults, a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old. We just about escaped and found all the clues satisfying and clever! A pretty snapshot decision to go resulted in a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The staff were friendly and gave us all just enough hints! Well-run, well-made and well worth a visit!

Housed within the buildings and grounds of a former Prisoner of War camp, a visit to this unique museum will take you back to wartime Britain. Experience the sights, sounds and even smells of life on both the Home Front and the Front Line.
On holiday with Gibbons coach holidays on our Yorkshire Explorer holiday we visited Eden Camp situated just outside Malton, North Yorkshire. Eden Camp is a historical history museum taking you back in time to experience what it was like in war time, each hut tells a story it's an amazing place to visit see all the military vehicles, air raid shelters, experience the smells, sounds of wartime. We enjoyed lunch in Winstans Bunker Cafe, seeing the staff dressed in wartime clothing. You have toilets and gift shop on site and the museum is all on the flat so easy walking you need at least three hours if not more to get around everything, plenty of parking on site and open seven days a week, don't miss the Prefab Bungalow you can look all around and through the windows see how they lived in the 1940's, something for everyone at Eden Camp had a fabulous visit. Had a photo taken in the sentry box with hard hat and gun lovely souvenir, a place every one should visit, every one works so hard keeping everything authentic.

Have just visited this establishment for afternoon tea. What a special occasion it was. Excellent food superbly served in a friendly atmosphere. Food could not be surpassed with as much Yorkshire tea as could be drunk. The special treat was sparkling elderflower water served with the meal. Thank you for an excellent meal.

Founded in 1100, this historic church lies within the quiet parish of Old Malton and serves as a magnificent example of 12th century Romanesque architecture. St Mary's is the only surviving church of the Gilbertine Order that is still used for regular worship in England, and is a grade 1 listed building.
