The dreamy island that provided inspiration to Chopin and Miró now has a reputation as a spring break beach destination. Don't worry, though, if you're vacationing over elementary school spring break-- there's plenty for the younger crowd. Marineland's dolphin and sea lion shows and children's beach attract families. And if you have a Thomas-obsessed toddler, the antique train that travels between Palma and Soller is a must-see.

Cant recommend highly enough, we have recently returned from a 6 night stay at Club Mac where my boy and his team mates participated in the ESA football camp. Elliot, Liam and team were amazing. Not just with the kids but parents and families aswell. Went above and beyond to give the kids experiences they will never forget. Coaching was fantastic and all kids have left buzzing. Definatley recommend to any football club looking for a trip away.

Fascinating gallery of Miro art, plus his workshops set out as they were in the 1980s. Attractive grounds with Miro sculptures and friendly cafe. Easy to reach on number 46 bus from central Palma, takes about 30 minutes.

We had already visited Caves of Drach when we saw signs for this place. How different could two places be. The guide was amazing seamlessly flitting between Spanish, German and English- full of fun facts he made sure we all enjoyed his tour. The tour contains 425 steps [according to the guide] and a hike of close to 1.5 km. Amazing geology, and a photo snap at every turn. Not appropriate for those who are physically challenged. Recommended and would revisit.

Can Prunera was built between 1904 and 1911. Nothing is known about its author, although two hypothesis exist: according to one of them, it was Joan Rubio i Bellver (1870-1952), a Catalan architect who at that time was working on the facades of Saint Bartholomew Church and the Bank of Soller headquarters, but there is no documental evidence of it. Another hypothesis attributes it to local builders.
Fascinating combination of museum and gallery. Enjoyed the architecture and the information about the building's history, and the artwork and exhibitions. The Pep Guerrero exhibition was a particular treat.
