This small, elite college is located in Brunswick.
Stopped by on a Sunday Morning and wandered across the old, Ivy league feeling campus. Almost every student smiled and said hi - so we felt welcomed and at home - even though we don't "go" here. We walked through the Student union which is a converted gymnasium -- now decorated with cool art, comfy sofas and a spiral walk to the third floor where there are many cozy hang out/study spaces. Felt like the Guggenheim museum :) There is also an inviting museum and countless old trees with outstretched arms waiting to greet you too.

Such a great place to visit if you are in the area! Thank you guys from Eartha for creating this masterpiece, thank you Mr David DeLorme for making sure that people all around the world still can see it for free after selling your company to Garmin It's an interesting place, where you can seat as long as you want and just look at this rotating globe trying to guess which country is which We spent couple hours there , wish we could stay longer , really enjoyed it Shame about the shop though! Pity Garmin close it down, it was famous for its maps

Wait? There is a desert in the middle of the forest in Maine? Who knew?! Come spend some time outdoors exploring this one-of-a-kind natural phenomenon! You will learn about the unique geology and ecology of this place, in addition to the fascinating characters that have shaped its history over the last 200+ years. We offer a self-guided (with audio options available), short hiking trails, an incredible natural playground, a gift shop, a small art gallery, and a barn that dates from the early 1800s. We also have a lovely campground which has been completely renovated! Unfortunately, the campground is closed in 2020 due to COVID-19. We will re-open in 2021 better than ever though!
