JDS Farms is a unique farm experience. The farm has lovely young fruit trees growing which in a few years time will be lush and green. We started by plucking fresh strawberries at the farm in cute little baskets. Our children and friends who were visiting were all thrilled by this activity. The small outlet outside also sells organic fruits and vegetables, and strawberry jam. The founder of JDS Farms, Patel Uncle then suggested a tractor ride and the delighted children enjoyed their ride through a hill and back to the farm. They played on the swings and slides and we also had very well made coffee and tea made in the small shop there. We met Mr.Sahaj Patel and his beautiful family towards the end of the day and congratulated them on their well managed farm. The Patel family has taken great pains to make this a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I applaud them for their hardwork to bring this unique experience for people of Nagpur.

For all the nature lovers, foodies, Farmville ( virtual game's fans), Agro tourism lovers, and mainly those looking for serene place to meditate, pack your bags and visit this awesome place next weekend. First of all Samarth Krupa Farm is conveniently located in Palghar only 2- 3 hours ride/drive from Mumbai, the wide spread of the green is soothing to your eyes which stays all the time around you, the lovely tour to the entire farm along with learning all Agro farming information is fascinating, the beehive, fish pond, goat farming, bullock cart ride, Archery, campfire etc just complete your native experience! All basic amenities and services are available. If you expect anything commercialized or jazzy this might not be your kind of place. But if your aim is to find peace within, rekindle your spirit, visit your roots, peek into the raw lives, topped with delicious food and warm homely feel... (review-courtesy Manali Kadam)
We were looking for a place close from Mumbai where we could feel a bit of the winter chills as you usually get that in the city. What better it could be staying in farm like Samarth Krupa Agro Farm (Eco forest) in Palghar approx 100 kms from Mumbai. We were a group of 5 including our 2 years old son and in laws. We don't have a car so booked ola outstation. Initially we decided to keep the car however after speaking to the owner (Mr. Vijay Mali, a very humble person) we decided to have only the drop as he confirmed to arrange for a car back home. Now comes the real experience. We reached a bit late (check in time is 10 am). Once we checked in to our mud house we took a quick tour of the farm which had trees of various flowers n fruits and a fish farm. Post lunch took a bullock cart ride which my son enjoyed though felt pity for the oxen may be wont ride again. Then went to further explore the organic farm and the experience was just wow. The local people working in the fields guided us to show what all they had cultivated. Cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach ,turnip, eggplants , fenugreek n more. Apart from veggies the farm has got a poultry farm, cattles ,turkey ,ducks ,rabbits, and a goat farm. People who does want to walk around a lot may enjoy archery table tennis or the swimming pool. The food I would say average but clean and hygenic. We liked the hot breakfast more which was served next morning. It was already time for us to leave but we cant just leave with the memories ,right? So we bought some organic vegtable carried along with us. As Mr. Vijay promised he arranged for a car for our return and we left the place after great tractor ride.

Laxmi Strawberry Farm, the place to be all year round and especially at strawberry season!!! Come and spend the day picking and eating ripe organic strawberries, down in our fields!
We had a great time at Laxmi strawberry farm! The staff was extremely kind and helpful when we arrived. The price seemed quite fair for the quality and amount of berries you can get. There is no comparison between store bought and fresh from the plant berries. The berries we brought home are a huge neighborhood hit too! We will definitely be returning for some more berry picking. The one thing I would like is to have more information on the strawberry types. Great overall experience, thank you!

Lie on the ground viewing the twinkling velvet night sky, enjoying a lively background score by a thousand crickets! Retire to a cosy and luxurious bamboo house for the night. Or pack yourself up in a tent! An hour’s drive to Talegaon Dhamdhere and you can have the best One-day or Overnight Stay on a farm ever. Of course, there’s much more to Aroha Srushti than this.
Good place away from city hectic life. Rooms are cozy, however, the toilet block should be contained in room, which is presently slightly away and open to sky. Suggest to cover by roof. Food and breakfast quality is good and there is scope for improvement. The staff is courteous and helpful. They take you out on a tractor trailer through sugarcane field along Bhima river which is a nice spot. As hot water comes through solar panels it was not so hot in monsoon weather. The climate was cool when we visited at the start of July.
