Our guide, Cristofer De la Rivera Morales, Cris, planned our entire week long excursion, after emails back and forth, to perfectly craft a tour specific to our wishes. And then he exceeded our expectations! The main purpose was birding. Cris' knowledge and understanding was deep. The target birds appeared day after day much to our excitement. From tiny siskins and pygmy owls to giant condors & rheas-he found them all and many, many more. And he knew so much about their habits and behaviors. We stayed in wonderful hotels, enjoyed local foods. Cris knew where to go-museums, glaciers, shops. Best of all was his attitude and ability to respond to us as his guests sharing his wealth of information about nature, ecology, his country and all the wildlife we saw. Our trip was just wonderful! He managed everything for us (even all the driving) and always with a smile. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learned lots.

6. Trek to Torres del Paine lookout (Mirador)

2Patagonia Travel

One of the youngest mountains of the planet. This trail will guide you through a narrow valley offering a variety of geological formations originated by volcanic and glacial activity. It's a non technical climb but a medium to hard physically particularly on the last km. Ideal for stunning pictures if weather conditions allows.

Inclusions: Private transportation, Trekking poles, Energy snack

Exclusions: Lunch, National park fee. Note: this fee is valid for 3 days on a row.
