The touristic main street with the cathedral and more, i.e. the tourism center. Some nice bars, where you get cold drinks of reasonable prices.

It's really hard to get materials and new goods in Eritrea, so at Medeber that take old metal, rubber, etc., and make what people need. It's fascinating to see. Also, it's a great place to get your berbera, if you need that. Recommend one visit to see the make-do attitude on display here.
