Away from the cloud of tourist to the peacefulness of Buddhist way. 05.00am Early morning start from your hotel to 3,500 feet Wat Phratat Doi Suthep (the landmark of Chaingmai). The temple is very quiet and all the monks are just start chanting, rousing and going out to receive alms offerings. Without any crowds you can enjoy the magical morning light and incredible panoramic views of Chiangmai city in serenity. Monks Alms offering at Kruba Sriwichai monument. After sunrise visit Wat Jed yod one of the least visited major temples in Chiangmai. Jed Yod translates to "seven peaks" and refers to the seven chedis which top on structure in the temple complex. It's a very unusual for Thailand temple building. It was built in the fifteenth century to host the Eighth World Buddhist Council. Very artistic temple. Can just go on your own. Don't need a guide. Its more to an art then a temple for prayers. You can make a wish on the wishing leaves and had it hang.

Visiting a one of the numerous Karen Long Neck villages in Thailand is one of the most exotic experiences on the planet. The mystery and beauty that sound the tradition of using brass rings for exaggerated jewelry is something better seen in person than in a book. We had ethical questions on if it these hill tribe villages would feel like human zoos, but thankfully we decided to visit anyway. It is a real life National Geographic Magazine to have to see to believe.

My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He and his driver picked me up, and dropped me off, at my hotel, even though it is well north of downtown. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are amazing. I strongly recommend this tour. Be prepared for a LOT of walking.

Overall this is a very good way to see more of Thailand and enjoy the culture. The activities were well timed and the lunch was great. Guides were knowledgeable. James Bond island is somewhat overrated and it gets crowded at times. I found the visit to Koh Panyee quite fascinating

The park is worth to visit, it has a lot to offer but definitely not with the horrible guide lady: she was arrogant, rude and it felt like we are there for her, not the other way around. Thanks to her - as she 'forgot' to mention that the village is closed for the day, so we would have gone another day, we went back and forth (i.e. uphill) on the same route for the trekking experince. Please note that the price was 2,000 bahts (in March, so the price might be different in different month!) but you can bargain the agent when you book the tour..
