So many of Madrid’s buildings look like castles, you’ll think you’ve stumbled into a fairytale. Even City Hall is astounding, with its white pinnacles and neo-Gothic features. A self-guided architecture tour can begin by the great bear statue in the central Puerta del Sol. Wander by the fanciful Royal Palace before absorbing the natural beauty of Retiro Park, then visit one of the city’s many museums. You could happily cap off each day by nibbling on forkfuls of paella while sipping Spanish rioja.

Shows alive. Probably the best flamenco tablao in Madrid, nothing fancy about the rugged tablao of Cardamomo, the best undergournd flamenco shows that are to be found in Madrid, a must see attraction, dinner is optional. Flamenco time is the best time. At the Cardamomo Flamenco tablao, masters of the Spanish guitar and percussion, renowned flamenco singers and flamenco dancers give their body and soul to the audience in a unique live show. • Dinner is served 45 minutes before the show. • 100% of tickets offer optimal viewing and acoustics of stage performances.
Me and my family loved the show, it was amazing to see a part of spains culture expressed through dancing in such a powerful and strongly beautiful way! I think Cardamomo is the right choice for everyone who is interested in flamenco, spanish culture and dancing in general and who want’s to spend a great evening with loved ones.

LAS TABLAS is the ideal place to spend an evening experiencing the song, dance and guitar of Flamenco while enjoying exquisite Spanish cuisine. Every night, our audience’s imagination is captivated by the passion of the song, the intensity of the dance and the sound of the guitar being played to the beat of clapping hands. Every night is unforgettable. We’re a young, dynamic, artist-led Flamenco stage, centrally located at Plaza de España, number 9, in the very heart of Madrid. You’ll find us between the Royal Palace’s Sabatini Gardens and the Temple of Debod. Our repertoire includes varied, representative Flamenco at its best, which is always open to proposals from emerging and acclaimed artists alike. Our two daily shows, at 7 p.m. and at 9 p.m., feature performances by great artists and meticulous staging.
This was my first flamenco show and I was a bit skeptical about it. After 5 minutes of the show (booked on their website w/ 1 drink included) I absolutely loved it and so did my wife. Dancers, singer and guitarist are very passionate about their craft and performed exceptionally. This was one of my favorite experiences in Spain and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend it everyone. Videos on YouTube or recorded in person don't do it justice. Must see live.

Cafetín La Quimera, located in the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid, is a small and intimate restaurant with flamenco shows every day. The venue is dedicated to offering the public an authentic flamenco experience at a reasonable price. The flamenco performances are held from Monday through Sunday, with one show per night during the weekdays and two shows per night during the weekends. Ticket packages include the option of the show with drink or dinner, featuring different menus of traditional Spanish dishes that can be sampled tapas style. The atmosphere is one of a local bar and restaurant: a friendly, informal and relaxed setting which is perfect for an evening of flamenco. Seating is also never far from the stage with tables and chairs on two sides for a good view of the show. No microphones or additional technical equipment are used for voice and guitar: the emphasis is always on the artist’s natural tools and talents to transmit the experiences of flamenco without effects.
Amazing dancing and music in a beautiful and intimate location. It was one of the best parts of our trip to Spain and it was so nice to experience traditional Spanish culture in an authentic atmosphere.

Taberna Flamenca el Cortijo is perfect for a cultural night out. At only 15 minutes from the heart of Madrid, its typical Andalusian ambiance transports its guests to a romantic Spain where the sun always shines and where gypsies dance in colourful dresses to the rythms of the flamenco guitar. El Cortijo welcomes both locals and visitors to Madrid. Watch our top class flamenco show while dining on traditional Spanish dishes made with the freshest ingredients, washed down with the finest Spanish wines and beers.

CAUTION: This review is going to be super detailed because all smart travellers struggle when it comes to choosing the right things to ensure they get the best experience possible for the amount of money they're investing. Okay. It was established that we had to go to a flamenco show while in Madrid. Needless to say, I spent hours upon hours searching and reading about the different shows and venues on offer. Blogs, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, more blogs- you name it, I probably went through it. It really was hard to decide, but if you get down a few things in mind, the process could get a bit less challenging. First, a real flamenco show should have all 4 elements of a real flamenco show: Cante (or voice), Baile (or dance), Toque (or guitar), and Jaleo (or clapping and stomping). Second, you have to prioritise other things in the experience (i.e. do I just go in for show? a show and drinks? a show and dinner?) That will significantly determine how much you will pay especially in reputable places like Corral de la Moreria. Third, you have to determine how long will you be willing to sit and watch a show. Most will specify the duration of the show online. I was between two venues, but I eventually went with Corral de la Moreria because it felt just right. It was the most expensive of all the ones I looked up (we paid €250 for 3 adults and 2 kids) for show and drinks only, but it was well-worth it. The show had all 4 components and was very balanced out. The performers spoke art and excellence and the show just came together to be wondrous- a real high class experience. It lasted for an hour which was just right for us. Some other venues had shows that could last up to 1 hour and 45 minutes and I felt that was too much for the kids even if a good show is pulled out at the end. Our experience here was lovely. We had an unforgettable night and it should come as no surprise. After all, this is (1) the oldest tablao in Madrid, (2) the place where renowned international artists performed for years, and (3) the place where celebrities come to flamenco shows. I had very high expectations and the folks here delivered and simply didn't disappoint. I would like to take this review as an opportunity to salute the waiters too. One of them graciously greeted us from the moment we exited our taxi, started small talk with my little sister and kept going until we were seated at our table. When I ordered an extra drink for grandpa and requested the bill later, they said keep it on the house. I found this small gesture very generous and it definitely made our day. Highly recommended.

You can find the Flamenco venue 'La Cueva de Lola' in the heart of Madrid's city centre, in the popular neighbourhood of La Latina. Only a few minutes away from the Plaza Mayor and Madrid's Royal Palace, this two-floor venue hosts a 17th-century cave, a unique place to enjoy an authentic flamenco show. La Cueva de Lola offers two 60 minutes daily shows (Tuesday to Sunday). In addition to the show, you can have drinks (great selection of wines and beers) and enjoy the local food choosing a tapas dinner and other Spanish delicatessen. Our mission is to offer you a first-class experience, and we have a young and talented team prepared to welcome you. We prioritize a top-tier show and service at a fair price. We live Flamenco. Come and live it with us.
Spectacular! My wife and I were looking for a new flamenco experience and we got the most special one -wasn't our first time in Madrid-. This one touched us and the whole experience was truly appealing. Impressive artists, beside the guitar player and the singer, who were exceptional, the dancers took everyone in the room out of their minds. Top level. Our best experience in a flamenco show in Madrid. The place is lovely and unique and the food also very good!! Truly recommendable.
