St. George's Cathedral is a Greek Catholic 18th-century cathedral with rococo yellow facade, housing an icon of the Virgin Mary. During 19th and 20th centuries, the cathedral served as the mother church of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The cathedral reflects both Western influences and the traditions of Ukrainian church construction. She's a beauty- don't miss this opportunity!

This is a Roman Catholic Church. It's a very popular Church, so on Sunday morning you should come at least 15 minutes before the Mass starts, in order to have a seat. Inside, the Church is very beautiful and cozy, with sculptures, and all kinds of ornaments and decorations. There is also the central heating in the Church, so, you're not going to be cold there. On Sunday, there are 6 masses in different languages, so you can choose one that suits you.

Elegantly and tasteful Baroque compared to the excesses of other cathedrals in the city. Most of it is also roped off compared to the other cathedrals so just a quick visit.

Gorgeous cathedral with breathtaking history. Built a long time ago by Jesuits (The Treasure of Nation with Nicolas Cage flashback), its interior was destroyed during the first and second world wars, and lately it was turned into the city archive by the Soviet government. Not that long time ago the cathedral was cleared from the books, including the ancient foliants, as the archive was removed to another, more appropriate building. Then, around 5 years ago, a complex ongoing process of total renovation has started. Now this cathedral looks better abd better, still holding inside a unique atmosphere. For now it is official cathedral of the Military Academy in Lviv, what gives this place a special halo of safety and hope.

This Roman Catholic Cathedral is very beautiful building. Inside view is breath taking. When you enter, you see straight away that it was built with a lot of love and care. And people who built it, were very skillful.

Very sleek, modern interior. This gothic building( I guess ) must have been renovated for its 400 centenary in 1996. Very shiny floors, modern stained glass pictures adorn the church. Nice
