This amazing place is a must visit during your stay in Manila. Gates open at 9.00am till 5.00pm. Beautifully landscaped, and humbling experience, this visit will take you back to the atrocities of WW2. Spend time reviewing the names and dates of the brave men and women that gave their lives for our freedom today. The crosses and Stars of Davids display the names and dates of passing of these heroes. There are several places to visit and walk, however ensure to visit the main memorial building and be at awe at all the names and history in display that take you back in time and explains the many different battles that took place for the strategic south east asia during this war. This memorial has in addition to the peaceful surrounding, some beautiful trees and flowers. Make sure you spot the many birds that compliment this attraction, especially the green parrots that typically fly around as a couple. amazing pictures to be taken. Make sure you bring with you some water and dress appropriately. No exercising is allowed, so leave the bikes at home.

if you go to this place, i recommend to get Tour guides or join in a Group with tour guides. This is the best part of sagada, this place is famous all over the world. The Local Guide in Sagada will explain how are the coffins put on top of the mountains, why there is chair and what are the ranks of this dead people. The history is pretty much amazing

This cemetery is like no other I have visited. It is like a neighborhood with rows of houses. The history of this cemetery is also quite fascinating. People actually live here,they are caretakers for the different homes. Best time to come is All Souls’ Day this cemetery comes alive with food carts ,the streets are filled with people who come from all over to visit their dead.

Nagcarlan in Laguna is popular with ghost hunters, history buffs, and adventure seekers for this reason: the dark catacombs and tight passageways that mark the town's underground cemetery. In use up until World War II, this has been well-preserved compared to other historic locations in both the province and the entire country. Wear a set of comfortable clothing and shoes, plus bring another pair to change into, because it is hot and damp inside. I came for the history and enjoyed the fairly short trek, it's brisk exercise!

It's really interesting to see how a city within the cemetery has been established. Mausoleums are used as homes, there are small shops, communal washing machines, basketball courts, ... We hired a guide at the entrance of the cemetery for 300 pesos. Really worth it! One of the most interesting visits in Manila!!!
