If you're visiting Tampa, then look closely to the time it will take to get to this outlet mall depending on where you're staying. For me, it seemed like it took forever.
We always seem to go to an outlet mall while traveling and this is one of the nicest I have seen. The water and all the seating is very impressive and a nice place to just sit and wait on someone or to take a break. It was so nice.
As for outlets. People always expect things to be significantly less. There are some bargains to be had and usually on out of season merchandise but every mall has that too. A lot of the merchandise is made especially for the outlet stores and is not the same as what you would find in a regular mall so therefore you can't really compare prices. Some of the outlet merchandise is made of a lower quality or has small imperfections not usually that noticeable. I think people go expecting to get good deals, and sometimes you do but you can also get deals at regular malls so it simply comes down to your preference. I go because I prefer to shop outdoors weather permitting.
What I loved the most, was that fresh squeezed lemonade place. I got a strawberry lemonade on the way to the car and wished I gotten a large! We also loved the selection at the Flip Flop Shop, they don't have these everywhere.
Go on a pretty day and just enjoy! Thank you for your helpful vote if you found anything in my review to be helpful.

My husband and I went with my parents and had a blast. The rides and shows were great. There were plenty of places to sit and rest (my mom had recently had a knee replacement, so she needed to sit regularly). The animals were fun to see as well. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tampa.

All this followed by a traditional champagne toast and hot breakfast at our local airport cafe'. We are located close to Tampa and just off the interstate for easy access no matter where you are visiting. We look forward to making your dreams a reality.

The food is good and service is hit or miss. They allow smoking on the main deck just outside the entrance, so they usually banish non-smokers behind the building or farther from stage area so you can't enjoy the entertainment. I'm not sure how they know you're a non-smoker (they don't ask),but I think they can tell the smokers by their aged skin and raspy voices. Or maybe their regulars. Anyway, decent prices. Good local stuff.

When architect Bobby Weed first surveyed the property for the design of TPC Tampa Bay, he chose a horse to be his all terrain vehicle across wetlands and open flats of native grasses. After moving hundreds of thousands of yards of dirt and adding 17 years of maturity for the native cypress, oaks and pines surrounding the wetlands and bunkers, TPC Tampa Bay has evolved into one of the most beautiful and exciting courses in Florida.Since being built in 1991, the facility has earned numerous accolades, including a four and a half star rating in Golf Digest’s Places to Play. It has annually been voted the top golf course in the Tampa Tribune’s Readers Choice Awards and has also been named the top golf facility in West Central Florida and one of the top five in the State by the readers of Florida Golf Magazine.TPC Tampa Bay was Recently Rated #13 Best Public Golf Facility by GolfWorld Magazine's 2010 Reader's Choice Poll.
Not only is this golf course awesome so is the staff. You're greeted with friendly professional staff, great pro shop. The course always impeccable and challenging that's why it's called TPC even though I'm nothing but an average golfer. Great restaurant within called "Quattro", fabulous food with great views. Great for hosting parties.

Goldsmith and artist Dan Balk designs and fabricates every piece of jewelry from raw materials from his studio in Lutz, Tampa, Florida. Each piece is one of a kind, designed by Dan, who creates his own sterling silver, 18K, and 14K alloys that he then fashions, mills, forges, fuses, and brazes into miniature sculptures for personal adornment. Dan selects and sets each stone, often performing his own lapidary work on select stones. Dan has complete contact and artistic connection with each piece of fine art jewelry from concept to collection. "America has a rich heritage of fine craft that is in jeopardy of being lost." Dan offers his classes, "In an effort to preserve the traditional cultural arts of American crafts people. In an age where people are increasingly dependent upon computers, machines and mass produced goods, I believe it is extremely important to retain the time-honored skills of hand craftsmanship that have been passed down through hundreds of years from teacher to student." -Dan Balk
"Always great to stop in when I need a special gift. Plus, the service is fantastic! Nataly will spend time with you to find just the right item. One ring I picked out was far too large for my wife. Dan made a duplicate to fit her, and it is now her favorite ring."

The exterior has the looks of your typical neighborhood dive bar but it actually is quite different. The interior is dark but actually very clean with no smoke odors. The place definitely has that neighborhood bar feel and look to it.
They have their own small batch craft beers on tap (about 10) and a very good selection of other craft beers on tap as well (I was impressed with their selections and variety - much better that the place just North...)
The server was very friendly and welcoming and provided good recommendations and descriptions of the beers.

Cheval Golf & Athletic Club offers beautiful private event and weddings of all sizes, 18 holes of championship golf, tennis, fitness, youth activities, summer camps and more -- all in one of Tampa Bay's most beautiful and exclusive neighborhoods.
The best club I've ever been a part of...starting with the management and the dedicated and talented staff. They are always striving to improve the facilities, the programs, and the amenities. The youth programs are amazing. Every sport from beginning to well advanced, but after school educational classes as well. The tennis program for the adults is one of the best in the city...if not THE best. Golf is not my thing, but I appreciate the beauty of the course and all the animals I always see when riding along with my husband. Gators, deer, eagles, sandhill cranes, osprey,...photo ops galore.

Do you see yourself looking over the vast Serengeti plains, searching the horizon for a glimpse of a pride of Lions, or a Leopard lounging in the trees? Do you imagine yourself in India, riding an elephant through the high grass with your eyes peeled for the elusive Tiger? Have you ever thought how great it would be to hike through the rainforest, listening to the tropical birds, ever on the lookout for a Leopard or an Ocelot high in the canopy? Have you ever been to the zoo and wanted to be closer to the exotic cats; so close you could almost touch them? You don't have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to make these dreams come true. The world's largest accredited big cat rescue facility is right here in Tampa, Florida at Big Cat Rescue.
This hidden gem is worth a detour. And it really is hidden. You'll find it down a somewhat hidden half-mile driveway that sits right next to a large suburban shopping center.
There's a small stone parking lot by the registration building. Pay the fees, and it feels like you've suddenly been transported to the back lot of a zoo.
There are very comfortable enclosures for all of the animals. You enter, for example, under a walkway built for a bobcat. There are large cats of every kind here, and more tigers than you can imagine. The stories behind many of these are just horrific, and there's a whole row of tigers that they don't let you see just because the poor animlas have been treated so poorly by humans in the past.
It's a large area, and it requires walking on uneven ground. For most people this shouldn't be an issue. But they do offer rides for those that need it. We were on a guided tour, and our mother couldn't make it on foot. So while the driver couldn't always bring her within earshot of our guide, he was giving his own private tour.
