The trail is well kept, and one can do a shorter lower loop, which does have some ups and downs thru several swales, but you do arrive at a nice overlook. The longer trail goes up much higher with an even bigger and wider view. No dogs allowed sadly.

We made a little day trip to find this place. They are in a beautiful location and the buildings are amazing. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed a nice selection of beers and their resident food truck. The farm raised beef made awesome burgers! The staff were friendly and offered up suggestions for other local attractions. We had an awesome afternoon and will be back again!

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains is our family owned & operated orchard. We raise many varieties of apples, peaches, blackberries, raspberries, plums, & pluots. Our season begins in June with blueberries & ends in December with apples. Our handcrafted baked goods, jams, & butters are made from scratch in our on site farm market kitchen by our 3rd & 4th generations farmers. In the fall apples are crushed & squeezed weekly making sweet unpasteurized cider. We offer field trips (scheduling begins in August)& bus tours. We are a pet friendly farm. We attend farmers markets in Richmond & Williamsburg. Festival dates: Super Peach Sundays July 28th & August 11th with hours of 11am-5pm each festival; Apple Harvest Festivals September 28 & 29 9am-5pm & October 19&20 9am-5pm. Please feel free to call us for any additional info.
We have been going to this place for the last several years. We ride the wagon to the pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin with the kids. The view on the wagon ride is amazing and it is only $2 a person. They have tons of apples and other baked goods and country hams to try and their apple cider is delicious. A couple of times during the fall they the festival with live music, food and vendors. The have an apple sling game, blow up fun houses for the kids and tons of other things to do. Highly recommend a visit during the fall!
