Each year, horse enthusiasts hoof it to Louisville and Churchill Downs, the legendary home of the Kentucky Derby. In addition to equestrian endeavors and bluegrass roots, Louisville boasts a range of exciting attractions the whole family can enjoy. Stroll through Central Park, in the historic district, to people-watch and get a real feel for the city. Visit other nearby parks for hiking, biking and fossil finding. Baseball fans will love the Louisville Slugger Museum, a celebration of the sport's legends. The museum is easy to spot, just look for the humongous bat that leans against the building.

Blissful Relaxation Float Room Full Body Spa Louisville features King Size Ocean Float Rooms, Massage, and Infrared Sauna. Floating is a method of attaining the deepest relaxation one can experience. In this gravity free environment, the body balances and heals itself, as all the senses are rested. Claustrophobia is rarely an issue as we have float rooms which are nothing like the small pods. Step into bliss.
Overall I've been to 4 different float centers in three different countries over about 2.5 years time, I've visited 2 in Louisville including Blissful Relaxation. I mention this because I generally don't do reviews on things unless I feel like I can give an honest comparison to similar competitors. There seems to be three main types of ways to float: One is the egg shaped pods, one looks like sort of a shoebox shape, and then this style at Blissful Relaxation is with a high ceiling room that you step into. Once the float starts it's almost irrelevant which type you are in, because at that point you are floating in space. The big differences is the setup for starting and stopping the float. I really like the tanks here with high ceilings, it's less of a claustrophobic feeling when you first climb in. I have taken family members here so that they can experience the beauty of floating. It's less intimidating to start a float than climbing into a small box or egg shaped pod. The room-style float tanks are better for someone who might be tall. I'm 5'11, around 200lbs, and have never had a problem being too big at a float tank, but if I was over 6' I would be wary of the other designs The standard float price here is a bit more expensive than others in the city, but you get to float for 1.5 hours instead of 1. So the price per minute is actually lower. I believe this is the only location in Louisville with the longer time. I really like that the float rooms here have their own personal shower setup. I've been to other float rooms where you have to take a shower and then walk down a public hallway to get to your float room. Afterwards you have to walk back down the hallway to shower the salt off. I like the relaxing room to have a cup of tea after you finish before driving home. If I was going to gripe about the absolute perfect I would ask for each float room to also have their own toilets. This way if you have to use the restroom mid float you don't have to walk down the hallway. Of the four float centers I've been too, only 1 had that. I normally do a sauna session right after my floats, they've set up the booking times for that to work out perfect. It's good to sweat out and have clean pores after a float. I commonly work 60+ hours in a week, The 1.5 hours float time I think is great for helping recover from the physical and mental stress at work. Once when I was extremely tired I booked it back to back and done a 3.5 hour float(extra 30 minutes from the lack of cleaning time). I always feel so much better when I'm leaving
