Met on time at port with professional guide Ronald, and had pretty extensive half day tour of neighborhoods in and around Puertos Montt and Veras. Just my wife and I toured. Guide stopped at cafe overlooking lake Llanquihue and volcanos. Had nice Strudel and coffee and treated guide also. Visited both upscale and lower neighborhoods around both towns. We both thought this tour was very worthwhile and did it as a shore excursion from our cruise ship so we appreciated the return guarantee from trip advisor although we were back in plenty of time.

Spent a very enjoyable day exploring the sights with Miguel. The bus was very clean and comfortable and also had free wi-fi. Our driver was excellent, we felt very safe, even on the winding roads up to the volcano. Miguel was very knowledgeable and personable. He even had a bottle of water and a traditional Chilean pastry for everyone! He gave us great restaurant recommendations in Puerto Vargas. This tour was half the price of the same tour offered by our cruise line. Fantastic value! Highly recommend!

What a perfect tour! It was definitely a highlight. The boat ride on Lake Todos Los Santos was spectacular, as were the Petrohue Rapids....and everything in Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. You see the Osorno Volcano from many different vantage points. Loved every part of this tour.

Located in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Petrohué River delights with its rapids. After a violent eruption of the Osorno Volcano, basaltic material gave rise to this attraction that runs through the evergreen forest. The Osorno Volcano is part of National Park and its height is 2650 meters. A complete panoramic view of Lake Llanquihue Lake and part of the Andes is possible in a sunny day. The vehicle reaches an altitude of 1,200 meters on asphalted road where there is a cafeteria and ski center. In addition, it is possible to reach 1400 meters by liftchairs. Puerto Varas is considered the tourist capital of southern Chile. The peaceful life of streets, visitors and locals enjoy the beautiful view and its surroundings. I had no idea that we'd find opera house on a small town, Fruitillar, on the beautiful Lake Llanquihue in northern Patagonia Chile .Exterior clad with vertical planks in different colors = gorgeous on the inside too with much attention paid to acoustics. Too bad we couldn't stay to see a perofmance.

We drove around the entire perimeter of Lake Llanquihue with Giancarlo, stopping at Puerto Varas, the green lagoon, waterfalls and Frutillar. Giancarlo is a knowledgeable and considerate guide and driver. His English is excellent. I only wish we had more time to spend in this beautiful place.

The road to the top takes you through some small communities (picturesque) and then winding up the mountain with beauty all around. At the top, hiking enthusiasts can take a short, strenuous hike (about 40 minutes round trip.) No trees--just rocks and ice and a restaurant and shop and restrooms.

Land of natives and German immigrants who arrived to colonize Chile. Gorgeous but once dangerous territory, now is home to cattle farms and a story that their descendants are proud to be part of. A short and easy walk from the parking lot reveals this stunning sight. Even prettier (because of the waterfall and river) than Japan's Mt. Fuji.

We took this tour last year. The guide doesn’t speak English at all, and keep repeating the same information over and over. They also don’t let you move and ask you to be next to them all the time. Amazing place but awful guide
