Sunil's Celebrity Wax Museum is the First and largest wax museum in India.
Had been to this wax museum in Lonavla a long back ago. This museum is located at a new location and is a popular tourist attraction. Earlier this museum was located off the Old Mumbai-Pune highway. This museum had housed a few wax sculptures. Later, it got upgraded and shifted to a mall located close to the old site where it was before. Now, it has been upgraded and moved to a new location off the road leading to Bushi Dam. This wax museum is India's first and largest wax museum. As the name suggests, it was named after Sunil Kandaloor, a sculpture artist from Kerala. This present wax museum displays life size wax sculptures of Hollywood & Bollywood celebrities, sportstars, politicians etc. This museum is visited by local as well as tourists from other parts of the country. Earlier, the entry fee was Rs. 100 per person in the old location. Now, it is Rs. 200 per person including GST. However, the staff is very particular about the wax sculptures and makes sure the no one damages them. This wax museum is ideal for families as well as friends. It is a must visit and should not be missed.
