In our gallery in Kettinge you find besides the artwork of Heike Arndt guest shows with artists, who have proved their talent and professionalism. We hope to surprise and challenge our visitors. The gallery takes active part introducing the art and culture from the Nordic countries and artists working in Germany. In the future we wish to support projects involving artist/groups from both places. In our danish studios for printing, ceramic/sculpture and painting we hope to develop an active artist involvement in the future.
Gallery Heike Arndt is a dynamic art gallery with people working with passion. With a big collection of prints and artworks of a very wide range of medium, there is art for everyone's taste. As an artist collaborating with the gallery since 2017, I had the opportunity to meet a lot of other artists and interesting people. Connecting people together is something very important for the gallery team. Since they work hard to organize international collective exhibitions, the network of artists, collectors and enthusiasts never stop to grow. This led to the creation of a collective called « Knot », with artists from all over the world organizing regularly collective exhibitions. I would definitely recommend you to stop by, have a coffee with the lovely team and look at the varying, high quality artworks.

Time travel to the 19th century The Open-Air Museum is situated in the middle of the scenic Maribo Lakes Nature Park. A little gem that provides experiences for both body and soul. Go back in time and feel the ambience. Visit the old half-timbered houses and discover what rural life was like in the old days. Walk through the small rooms with their low ceilings and peek behind the curtains of the beds. Take off your shoes, while inside the farmhouse and feel for yourself the different floors. Write on the blackboard in the school and enjoy the idyllic flora. Get up close and personal with the farmer, the laborer, the priest, the school teacher and the smith in the old houses, showing 300 years of building culture. There are ample opportunities to act out one’s inner child with several different old village games and activities.
