We specialize in Riesling wine. For red wine lovers, we also offer an approachable, food-friendly Cabernet Franc. Twice, Wine Enthusiast Magazine has named our Dry Riesling to its list of Top 100 Wines in the World. We are open every day (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.) Our wines are available in more than 30 states and also on our website.

Their ZWEIGELT is easily Top 2 if not the best offering in Finger Lakes Region or possibly NY. I have been fortunate to have tried some of the best in Napa three times, Harlan, Promontory, Opus, Caymus, Pride Mountain, Cask 23 & SLV at Stag's Leap, actual Penfold's Grange tasting in Australia in 2013 and great ones during France trip. ZWEIGELT is high-quality and great value per pour.

Visitors to this popular winery in the Finger Lakes area can experience great wine-tasting, fine dining and tasting this establishment's newest addition- micro-brewed beers.
Stopped for a tasting in mid September. So glad to see that Wagner's is adhering to all of the new protocols in this new era. We were fortunate enough to have a tasting with John. Certainly not your average tasting. We were treated to one of the most enjoyable hours we have spent in the Finger Lakes. We were educated not only on the origins of the winery, but the origins of the grapes themselves. This man really has a passion for the area and the entire industry. On top of that, the wines were really excellent. We are more into the dry reds, which were all great, but the whites were equally impressive. My personal favorite was the Caywood East dry Reisling, The beers are also very good, If time allows, we recommend a lunch stop at the Ginny Lee Cafe. Great food, wonderful views of the winery and vineyards, and a great drink menu featuring Wagner beers and wines by the glass or bottle .This place really has something for everyone. Keep up the great work John and Wagner's Joe and Lori Brennan

Good wine, lovely view, and friendly staff. They follow COVID rules to the letter, but still make you feel welcomed.

Silver Thread Vineyard creates expressive, age-worthy wines in harmony with nature. Our boutique winery and sustainably-managed vineyard are located on the east side of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Small production ensures the greatest care and highest quality in every bottle of our wine.We specialize in Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer that reflect the unique terroir of the Finger Lakes. Although our wines are styled for the dry wine consumer, semi-dry wine drinkers will also find wines they enjoy. Our tasting room, located off the beaten path, provides breathtaking views and an opportunity to contemplate wine in a quiet, natural setting. We look forward to sharing our love of wine with you.
We had a library tasting in a private room with two other couples, socially distanced. The vineyard representative (didn't get his name) was quite knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy his job. The pours were generous, and he offered additional pours after our initial flight. We weren't rushed, like you are at some other vineyards. We enjoyed the wines, and found their focus on sustainability and staying smaller-scale appealing.
