I shop here frequently for the great personal service. The owner knows her clients and goes above and beyond to find the right books for every client. I recently asked for housewarming present ideas and they were a huge hit. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely spot in the middle of Locust Valley. An almost hidden gem. Beyond the wooden fence is a tranquil spot to walk the paths and feel like you are in another world. It is quiet, and beautifully maintained. The Japanese garden reminds me of the one in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. You'll never find hoards of people there, and that's ok, because it is meant to be calming and meditative. A place of peace...

Our daughter was married at Bailey's in June, 2013. The grounds are clean and well maintained with beautiful plantings. The old manor house is elegant. In the years since then, I have taken my grandsons to play on the expansive grounds, with the xylophone and oversized chair and to visit with the birds that the Wildlife Center rehabilitates. Overall, just a beautiful, peaceful place to visit.
