Locorotondo is a town and comune of the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia, southern Italy, with a population of about 14,000. The city is known for its wines and for its circular structure which is now a historical center, from which derives its name, which means "Round place". Wonderful town with winding streets with no traffic. The town is friendly with shops and restaurants and outstanding view of the little valley around the hill. The is a great spot not over run with crowds.

Many black iron crosses in this small church, ancient sculptures and alters. Great for Mass, concerts, art exhibits, etc. I have been going there for 13 years. Fabulous site of history.

This is the large church of Locorotondo. It is truly magnificent and ancient with the tremendously high ceilings and domes, several alters and crypt under the Church. Everyone should visit this magnificent holy place. People were saved from the plague and no one died and then they built 13 churches and chapels in gratitude to God.
