Cracking wee walk with the dog. Only takes about an hour to do. If the weather gods co operate the views are stunning.

Ariundle Oakwood National Nature Reserve

Reviewed By B705EGjohnw

This is a fairly gentle walk through a beautiful ancient oak woodland, the path is clearly defined and signposted. One section is via a well maintained boardwalk. Stunning mountain scenery in the background. Will take the average walker about an hour and a half, taking time to enjoy the environment and views.

Signal Rock and An Torr

Reviewed By 5cruffy - Swindon, United Kingdom

A 1.5 mile walk to An Torr. Start in the car park off the main road. Some sections are up and down steps/slopes which can be a bit slippery. The National Trust are clearing the conifers to revert it back to natural vegetation, so a bit messy in places. Take the Black route for a circular tour. A gory detour takes you to the nearby pub which has toilets.
