I went on the one and a half hour mountain hack today- truly brilliant. I rode a gorgeous very willing cob called Mabon. He was delightful, as was Elly who led the hack. We went up high on the hillside, the sun was shining and the views were amazing. Mabon and I both really enjoyed the canters on the grass when we got to the top of where we were going. Thanks Ellie and thanks Mabon!

We came here as a family of adults back in September☺️ Paul made my booking, answered all my questions and put me at ease!!! An easy and efficient process. We booked segways, and you have to arrive around 15 mins before to fill in paperwork and then the fun begins???? Very covid safe.. but despite coronavirus, this was one of the highlights of our holiday☺️ stepping onto the Segway for the first time was a little scary, but Davs was fun, positive, and reassuring and gave us the best possible experience!! Our mum was the most nervous but actually turned out to be the best at it☺️ We formed a team of the ‘curly wurlys’ and played games against another group. It was fantastic!!!!!!! Honestly can’t recommend this place enough, if only we lived closer we would definitely come back again!! Would recommend this experience to everyone.. despite having been home from our holiday for a while, we’re still talking about our Segway experience???? Thank you so much guys☺️

Great beginners surf lesson with Dave and Annabel, particularly for the children. The lesson was re-scheduled twice and moved to another beach to make best use of the conditions, with great communcation from the shop agreeing and informing about the change of plans. Great use of local knowledge to get the best out of our session - thanks for the effort. I have seen and given many watersport lessons, as a sailing and windsurfing senior instructor, and I was very impressed by Dave and Annabel’s energy and enthusiasm, plus the effort they put in to ensuring that each child in the session got individual coaching and was able to progress to standing in a single session. Even details like learning names (hard) and helping those who were struggling. The only downside is it cost me a fortune as I had to buy a surf board, as a birthday present for my 12yo after the lesson as he was so enthusiastic afterwards! ???? All the best, and see you soon,

Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth)

Wow, such a long, wide and wild-if-windy beach. Perfect for a gentle stroll, or blowing off the cobwebs, depending on the weather. You get a real sense of isolation here, with not that many fellow walkers, (midweek/October). It's well signposted on the local road, with a small car park. Then around 5mins walk along a sandy path through the dunes... And then - the view! We enjoyed reading the various signs, learning a little of the beach's history and wildlife. (The more signs and info the better methinks. History and wildlife very important, as well as giving areas like these context.) We loved it here, spending a very happy hour, walking part of this huge beach. Oh that we had more time to cover it all...no matter, we'll return someday.
