Usually pop in to the TIC every time we visit Llangollen as it has plenty of free information on local activities or attractions. Staff are very helpful, toilets are available and there is also a variety of books and souvenirs on offer to the visitor.

Park in Llangollen & walk across the bridge & up to the canal. This is a most enjoyable & peaceful walk, particularly in Spring, Summer & Autumn along the canal to the Horseshoe Falls. You can have lunch or coffee at the Chainbridge Hotel near the falls which is very pleasant as it overlooks the fascinating Chain Bridge, which has been restored. The falls themselves are very attractive & you can also walk beyond them, following the river Dee to Llantysilio Church which is a lovely, peaceful little church covered in snowdrops in February. Definitely worth walking here!

Breathtaking views when you get to the top. There are lay bys and car parks for you to park in for free to climb to the summit. It is amazing when you're up there. Quite cold and windy on a day in March but I bet its gorgeous in the summer months. There is also a restaurant/cafe up there too.
