Walk or take the tram to the summit of the Great Orme—you’ll be rewarded with a splendid view of Llandudno, a popular seaside resort in Wales. (Just take a jacket. It can be chilly up there.) On your way up, stop at the Great Orme Copper Mine for a fascinating look at how copper was mined 3,000 years ago.

What a wonderfully carved statue and tribute to the Alice In Wonderland story. Well done to the artist.

The Queen of Hearts statue is easy to find. It’s on Gloddaeth Street in front of the United Church. If you head towards the West Shore Beach you will come across Cheshire Cat and across from him is the White Rabbit. ????

Anyone who is a fan of Alice in Wonderland will appreciate all of the characters statues. The White Rabbit is exceptional, a lovely tribute to the place for the book’s inspiration.

This 64-foot obelisk was built in 1993 by the owners of the Bodysgallen Hall hotel. It is located in a meadow on a limestone ridge above a former quarry. The meadow has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest on account of its grassland and flowering plants. Initially the folly met with fierce local opposition but it is now an accepted landmark and a good place for a walk. I followed sight of it up the hill and managed to find it, superb views and a real gem that people dont seem to visit that often, Go see it.
