Riverwalk Covered Bridge

The covered bridge in Littleton NH is a walking only bridge. The location over the Ammonoosuc river is just down river from a series of falls that make a great backdrop for photos. The shoreline is dotted with red maple and a kaleidoscope of color this fall. Saturday their is a Fly Fishing event being held on the river where viewing from the bridge will be epic. Check out Ammonoosuc chapter of TU for details. This spot is amazing any time year and there is a great craft beer place "Schillings" a few steps away. You vill love it.

I was extremely fortunate to get a slot in a last minute 5 day class. The professionalism of the staff at Team O'Neil is unsurpassed. Instructors are extremely patient, understanding, and knowledgeable and have absolutely no egos (very down to earth). They come from varied backgrounds and have extensive experience in their areas of expertise. Max, Steve, and Al are the instructors I worked with the most, and were a pleasure to work with. It is truly amazing how fast the skill progression occurs. By day five you are tearing down gravel roads on their 600 acre property at top speed with minimal input. I highly recommend this course.

Set inside an inviting porch-front building, this small family-owned store in "beautiful downtown" Sugar Hill, is renown for its wonderful premium aged cheddar and other cheeses. You'll also find this shop packed with real local maple syrup (of course!) and a variety of local and regional candies, jellies, soups, and much more...even Moxie jelly! Hey, remember Moxie? And the folks behind the counter couldn't be nicer or more helpful.

I defy you to walk out of this store empty-handed!

Now, after you've visited Harman's, drive east to the Sugar Hill Sampler's barn at the crest of the hill, and then down to Polly's Pancake Parlor...

The "Be Glad" theme of Littleton is reflective in this statue which is cute and worth a photo or two, but it is, folks, just a statue. Not sure what more to say other than it's one of several quick tourist stops in Littleton that should be on your list so you can say you saw it. Located in front of the library in the main part of town.

Coming back to Franconia from Littleton we happened upon a sign that read "Cafe". Stopped at this little farm which was only opened for a short time after harvest season.
They had several organic and natural (no meats) dishes and deserts. They were closing the following day for the season, they told us. A bit of natural Americana, it was a lovely stop !

This was our highlight of Franconia. This is an amazing adventure. We saw some great rocks. Unmovable!

We were walking in the forest. We saw two beautiful covered bridges. The last one had great views. Wow!

Once we were in the flume, we were mesmerized by its beauty. The further we went, the more beautiful it became.

They had paths near the river and waterfalls and wooden stairs. There were so many waterfalls. Everyone in our vicinity were walking quite slow, so that they could take some nice pictures, which wasn't be difficult.

We stayed here for 3 hours. It was so beautiful. We even enjoyed our walk in the forest.

It's a must see! Enjoy!
