Cruise past North Myrtle Beach to just before SC/NC border on hwy 17 and Vereen Memorial Garden is on the right. A free park with many walking trials and wooden walks off the intercoastal waterway. A regular shown us 2 bald eagles the nest in the area and where we can see barred owls in the woods. It is dog friendly. It is truly a hidden gem. The park does take donations to keep it in the condition it is. We will be back for sure.

Vineyard & small winery.
I love to go on Saturdays, they are open everyday, weather permitting, they offer vineyard tours, wine tasting and an awesome gift shop. The grounds are so peaceful.

My wife and I enjoyed our stroll on the beach. You can fine more sea shells there than in Myrtle beach. Lovely beach to go for a walk especially on a nice sunny day. The beach is long and goes for miles. The best times are early morning watching the sunrise or late afternoon at sunset.

Staying at my sister's place for the Christmas holiday, we were able to take a walk on the beach to the Kindred Spirit mailbox. We each left our names in the notebook. It was cute decoration with a Christmas decoration.

I attended a Relay For Life there and was impressed with the layout and quality of the amenities. Perfectly maintained with something for everyone.I can envision it growing and getting even nicer.

Enjoy Las Vegas Style Casino Action on The Big M Casino's 2 Luxury casino yachts departing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina year round.
We are not into gambling....played a little big of slots...there are full table games if you're into that. They offer a large buffet. One deck is for smokers and one is smoke free. Cocktails are also available. We really went to be on the water and enjoy the boat ride and scenery...a. Great way to spend the day

This time of year it is too cold to go in the water, but walking or sitting on the beach is nice. The beach is clean and flat, easy to walk on. The sand is soft and fine, and you might find a few nice seashells.

Visited here on our way through Myrtle. It was a blast! The viewing area is huge with many many reptiles to behold. They have hundreds of gators and all kinds of crocodiles. They also have lizards, snakes and other smaller reptiles inside.
We got to see an alligator feeding which was really cool.
You can spend a couple of hours here and not even know it. There is so much to see.

Cricket Cove is a small harbor area and a restaurant called Snooky's. There is outside seating at the restaurant. There isn't much to see.

Our primary objective is to make this area an even better place to live, work and play. Part of the Chamber's mission is to be a community leader and assist in the economic development of the region. We do that through service, innovation, community leadership and collaboration. We provide general information and referrals for businesses & attractions in the area to locals and visitors.
I was in much need of some guidance from the Chamber for a fund raiser and to my disappointment they were very put off and not at all friendly. They seemed very disinterested in assisting me (almost as if I was bothering them). Good luck with getting any help from them let alone a friendly smile.
