The viewing platform provides a great view across the lake. It's also just across the road from a small museum that is worth visiting, and can be a good place to start a walk along the lake shore, following the path.

The history of one of the oldest and highest towers in Vilnius Old Town goes back to 13th century. In the 16th century the defensive tower was converted into the Cathedral's bell tower and acquired its present appearance in the 19th century. The bell tower contains functioning bells and the earliest surviving clock mechanism in Lithuania. Come, count the steps (that are steep, narrow and impressive) and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Vilnius! And if you're up for something magnificent, pop by at 5 p.m. to hear the big bells toll around you!
Visited this attraction in October 2019 with my girlfriend. You can purchase your ticket as a 1,2 or 3 attractions ticket.A single attraction ticket is 5 Euros per person. We bought a 2 attraction ticket in conjunction with the Vilnius Cathedral Crypt tour. The Bell Tower itself is well worth visiting. The basement area houses lockers and the toilets. The floors above have a section with 5 bells that can be sounded. You also have interactive audio that you can listen to by putting on headphones and get a perspective in daily life of the Tower sentry,Tower architect and others. The wooden stairs take you right to the top where you can enjoy views of the Square and its surrounding area. There is protective netting on the windows,so unfortunately, you do not get an unrestricted view. You can also examine closely the main bells and their mechanisms. Worth taking time out to add this to your itinerary.

A wonderful view of Nemunas river and pine tree forests of Dzūkija National Park. The attraction can take up to 45 minutes. The observation tower is quite popular among tourists visiting South Lithuania, so it's better to avoid weekends. The tower is located in Merkinė town on the way to Druskininkai resort. It's also worth to spend a couple of days in the surroundings for Dzūkija national park for it's great activities. You can stay in the countryside holiday homes nearby - for example "Dzūkijos uoga")
