Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

I attended an event at The Rose Theater. It was the Annual Cabaret Convention and its's an awesome show if you love cabaret. My seat was in the balcony and I was worried because the prior year I sat in the mezzanine. The space is gorgeous and the sound is awesome. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. I would love to perform there one day

One of a kind operating barbershop where haircut and shaves is performed in an atmosphere of the beginning of XX century. All guests would get a pleasure to go back to the earlies 1900, the beginning of the modern history of barbershops ambitiously decorated with lots of golden elements, handcrafted woodwork and impressive chandeliers. A place of a meaningful social formation for a man in America.

The Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts is undisputedly the world’s leading performing arts venue and the premier entertainment destination in New York. It houses prominent nationally and internationally performing arts organizations such as the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York City Ballet. The Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts was built by a consortium of business leaders led by John D. Rockefeller III as part of the “Lincoln Square Renewal Project” which took place during the 1950’s and 1960’s. During the summer of 2018, I brought and treated my wife and myself to attend and watch L'Amour: Entre Reverie et Passion (Love & Passion), a musical performance conducted by the World Civic Orchestra at the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts. The World Civic Orchestra consists of musicians from all over the world and is led by the world renowned conductor, Vincent Koh. My wife and I enjoyed the rhapsodic music of Albania and very much enjoyed the flamenco style dancing that was featured in El Amor Brujo. In addition to the musical performance, my wife and I were impressed by the Lincoln Center’s rich and detailed architecture, its magnificent artwork, and beauty and glamor of the auditorium at the Alice Tully Hall. All in all, my wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Lincoln Center For The Performing Arts. We definitely can’t wait for it to open again after we’ve overcome the challenges posed by COVID 19.

If you have an hour to spend take a look at this exhibit at the NYPL Performing Arts library. Everything is there, from a replica of Hal Prince's office (door and all), to letters, photos, telegrams, ledgers, posters, not to mention set and costume designs from many of the shows he produced. Fiddler, West Side Story, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd...it's all there. You get such a sense of his genius, even if you don't stop and read every word. Plus, you don't spend a dime.
