Keith Hills is a very beautiful course with a terrific layout. However, since Campbell University has a golf management program, which connects the students to this course, during school, it is virtually impossible to get around in less than 4 hours.
There are 3 nines, Black, Orange, and White. IMO, the White is mostly flat, swampy and boring. There are about 3 good holes on that 9, but that's about it.
KH has done a lot of work on this course, and removed a lot of trees on the Black side around holes 3 and 4, especially the par 3, # 4. It's easy to score on this course. Also, they route the carts off the course on some holes a good 100 yds out, which is irritating...esp., if you miss your 2nd shot... just sayin'.
Something REALLY aggravating, is if you play later in the day, a lot of the homeowners go out walking on the course... too many in my opinion, and you have to wait for them to get outta your way; sometimes they'll ignore you and keep walking even though they know you're playing.
All this being said, KH is really worth playing at least once! Played once, I'm sure you'll want to play it again. Enjoy! It really is gorgeous and the pro shop staff is terrific!

Love this park, great escape. Nice clean trails, scenic overlook you won't believe. Helpful staff. Clean rest rooms. Great picnic area. Stairs down to the river, huge boulders for climbing. This is a really nice park with extensive trails. Worth an afternoon or early morning visit.

Jim Perry stadium is the home of Campbell University's baseball team, and the Buies Creek Astros, Fayetteville's new minor league team, will be sharing the stadium for two years. Nice neighborhood (the university campus), free parking, simple, but inexpensive concessions (for a ballpark), and a small, but nice stadium, made for a great visit. There is not a lick of shade at this park. If you attend a day game, bring sunscreen.

Barker-Lane Stadium is the home of the Campbell University football team. The stadium itself recently was refurbished and now has an additional 3,000 permanent seats doubling its seating capacity to a little more than 5,200 permanent seats. The stadium is located directly off of HWY 421/27 and easy to find. You can pay to park in the parking lot adjacent to the stadium, however you can park across the street for free at the different lots by the dorms.
The home side of the stadium is where the assigned seating is located. This seemed to be the first year that they have had reserved seating as everyone kept commenting about it and scrambling on how to get their friends to sit in that area without success. A ticket in this section only costs $8-13. The visitor's side of the stadium is where the general seating is located. These are bleacher seats and are on a first come basis. These seats cost only $3 each. As such, football games are an affordable option compared to other big college programs.
Since it is a small school options at the stadium are limited when it comes to food and drink. You can primarily expect bottled soft drinks and hot dogs, candy, popcorn and a few other select choices. However, like the ticket prices, the food is actually affordable and won't break your budget.
While the school had a band, it wasn't a marching band and they took halftime off like the two football teams. They had a section with activities for little kids which they could play during the break. However both the band and the music over the loudspeaker did a good job in keeping the crowd into the game. The atmosphere made for an enjoyable game. Just don't expect as high quality of a game as you'd expect at an Alabama game for example.
If you need another reason to go, where else do you get to hear the cheer "let's go Camel's, let's go."

Amazing place! Chip and his wife make an excellent team and display, as well as teach about, their birds with knowledge, respect and a true love of what they do. We expect to revisit soon and appreciated the willingness to transfer knowledge to those who wanted to take up the call. More adults than children were at our session, fun and amazing for all ages, but watching and catching them in flight was the absolute BEST!
