It was establioshed in the 1930th. The ‘thematic’ walkway in the hanging gardens joins the Szinva educational trail, and enriches it with its nine stations. The stations are connected to poetry, poets, natural scientists and love, while the natural and artificial elements of the environment are also duly highlighted.
Lillafured was such a nice experience all around. We started with coffee inside the hotel where we met the nicest barista, Eva, and enjoyed a delightful treat with coffee. Then we walked around the entire gardens including the hanging gardens and waterfall, then back to Hamori Lake for a rowboat ride. We spent about 3 hours in total with teenagers! Lovely!

The park includes indoor and outdoor lasertag arena, a sliding track integrated high-altitude cableway, terrain Segway track, an ice skate-rink, a rollerblading track, a themed playground, streetball courts, a poolball pitch, and a huge place to have an active relaxing time. It has a unique football themed PanIQ room also.

We took the chairlift both ways (about 20 minutes each way) for 1,400 HUF for us adults and 1,200 HUF for one child (under 3 is free) and we just couldn't get enough of the peace and quite all around us. We had little children with us and although there was a sign at the entrance that said 130 cm, they were able to ride with us as long as the youngest was on our lap. We enjoyed the views especially on the way down and the kids were able to play on the swings that are at the top where you can also find a small bufe that serves cold drinks and ice cream! There are various hiking trails that one can take to descend but we didn't try them with kids, maybe next time!
