Always worth a stop - a fantastic range of colourful play equipment for all ages from toddler to young adult. It even has workout equipment for adults. The toilet is clean and well-maintained. Hard to drag the kids away!

Kohitere Trig

This is certainly the most beautiful walk. There are 2 tracks, the wide logging track is more challenging and needs a degree of fitness but if I (elderly) can do it most people should be able to do it. The other track I found less challenging and is also very beautiful. It is a single track with many options for great photos. The trig is a great lookout with view over lake Horowhenua. You can take your dog as well but keep it on the leash.

This Library is a credit to our town. There are lots of books to choose from, helpful staff who are approachable and happy to answer any queries. Its always very busy and well utilized by locals. We have taken overseas visitors here all of whom were full of praise for what is on offer for the public, and also the building itself.

The lake was amazing, I loved the natural smell it gave off. I would recommend swimming once. I would recommend eating your Maccas at the lake, just make sure you feed the birds.
