I have been here twice in March with family.
Each occasion there was 6 attending and between us we have tried almost every dish.
We have enjoyed everyone of them. You really cant fault this place for quality at a very competitive rate.
Will definitely be back.

Wellsgreen is the best golfing practise facility in the region. A 5 star Scottish Tourist Board Activity Centre boasting 18 golf bays, 2 tuition studios, a fully stocked golf shop and a 6 hole par three golf course.
I took 3 children to wells green. While they were having fun, the person next to us kept hitting the ball wrong which flung into the air and landed in our section almost missing my child's head!
I think this is an extremely dangerous place and wellsgreen should consider making the side panels right up to the ceiling to avoid these dangers for happening. Or at least add some strong mesh up to the ceiling to avoid the balls falling into the cubicals.
I don't understand why each cubicle has to have side wall panels so low!
I will not be returning and it's only a matter of time before someone actually gets hit!!

As we had entered the Old Course ballot for three days and were unsuccessful we needed to book another course asap. Went on-line with teetimesuk.com and looked for courses close to us. As we were staying in Crail down the road from the town of Leven and this course popped up at a good price we decided to try it. For 25 pounds each walking this was a great links course! Right along the sea--links type fairways--pretty natural--don't look for lush fairways-- and beautiful greens. A little confusing at times not knowing where to hit your tee shot as the greens are not visible on a lot of the holes. So we tried to keep an eye on the group in front of us sometimes to see where they were and hit to that area--it worked--sometimes lol. Great mix of medium length par 4's and long ones--but believe me when I say a well struck tee shot is going to roll--forever. I average around 240 yards a tee shot (hey I'm old ok?) but I must of averaged closer to 280 on this course--nice. But you better be straight or you will be in the dunes or grouse rough--not fun. Plenty of room off the tee so higher handicap players will enjoy this course too--on most holes. We paid our money in the small pro shop and waited a few minutes for a foursome in front of us to get down the fairway and off we went--a little waiting on our round but not bad--no one behind pushing us. We did rent push carts for a few pounds--the course is flat-no buggies for rent--but easily walkable at only about 6,550 yards from back tees-we played the yellow tees at 6,300 yards. Played in about 4 hours and really had a good time--for 25 pounds this was a great links course and would certainly play it again at that price. The 18th hole is a monster--just A WARNING-about 456 yard par four with a stream running in front of the green--I had about a 190 yard second shot to the green into the wind and went for it with a seven wood--I crushed it and still went swimming--a triple bogey on the last hole--bummer--ha ha. Chatted up the guys in the pro shop after the round--nice people--nice course--don't pass it by if you get a chance to play there.

Time of work so headed down to Letham Glen in Leven. Glen has play park for the young ones and outdoor gym facilities for the more active lifestyle. Moving further on you will come across a small wishing well which is always granted to raise a smile. Glen has lovely river streams and small Bridges located near some of the private owned houses. Moving on from the wishing well is a small duck pond which should keep family and wee ones happy.
Anyone with the active lifestyle will be pleased with the outdoor gym but will also find delight in the designated woodland path. Each pole is yellow and is numbered from one to twelve that will take you round the path in a quick but enjoyable 20 min.
The Glen is open all year round and is free of charge and is a must for family's alike.

Cannot believe the level of service we received in this bar. We have never met such a friendly barman, and absolutely nothing was too much for him.

Standing on the corner of Durie Street and Victoria Street in a small garden with plenty of seats the memorial wall and the plinth in front offer a host of names from the area for the First World War and the Second .The area is tidy and well maintained .The boundary wall memorial was added in 1950.It is a category C listed monument

This is stunningly beautiful wee church with exceptionally fine stained glass windows .A friendly welcome is assured and the small congregation were delighted when I asked if I could photograph the interior .Set with pews down the sides and an aisle leading to the chancel The windows were installed in 1900 . The architect was Matthews and Mackenzie and the Church opened in 1880 The Church is B listed and is a must see if you are in Leven when it is opened
