We were picked up on time by Wojciech. He was a fantastic guide. From start to finish we were looked after perfectly. It is quite a long drive but absolutely worth it. The scenery is outstanding. We enjoyed seeing traditional wooden houses and 15th century Church of St Michael the Archangel. Rafting in Dunajec was pleasant. The rafts hold 12 people and it was quite busy. I recommend if you visit Krakow allow yourself 6 days as there is so much to see and do.

That was a really good trip. We were picked up from our hotel. Our driver explained us everything and was waiting for us in the car to drive us to Birkenau and after to our hotel. Guide was a real professional and he anwsered all our questions. We used Krakow Direct and it was superb. Remember to get some snacks or lunch as the tour is really exhausting and there is no time to seat & eat.

I loved this walking tour! My mother and I went last December after a long cold day of exploration. We met up with a wonderful group of people and had lots of fun that night with our guide and fellow travelers. The food was wonderful and afterwards I felt like I had learned a lot about Polish culture. This experience was really one to remember!

Really disappointed, doesn’t take you past anything, tape runs out of sink with journey and you really have to use your imagination to workout what it’s talking about as it’s definitely not always obvious. Seriously not worth the money, next time I’d do a scooter or Segway tour.

We did a private tour with highlights of Slovakia and visits to villages where my great-grandparents came from. I was impressed with the extent of research Juri did into my family's geneology to find the towns, churches, and gravesites of my ancestors. When we visited these towns, we were warmly welcomed by a town official and priest who helped us understand the history of my family's origins. I was blown away! Our tour guide for this trip, Tomas, was very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to travel with. He was a very competent and reliable driver, knew a great deal about all the historic sites we visited, and made our trip go smoothly. I wish I could have spent more time with him traveling about the country. I plan to go back to see the villages of the other side of my family and delve deeper into the countries' history and, when I do, will request him again. Thanks guys!!

It had been 25 years since we had seen the beautiful Medevil Krakow Square in the Old City. It’s charm was still there and even enhanced. I felt like we were in a little “Prague” and the European charm of that famous city. There were beautifully dressed horses and decorated carriages to take one a romantic ride around the massive square. Vendors from all over the region were assembled in charming booths selling their hand crafts and wares. Chestnuts were roasting and brats and kielbasa sausages were being grilled along with mulled wine being served and the aroma was just enticing. All the stores and street lights were festivally lit to give such an enchanting atmosphere. Dress warmly. It was 24 degree Fahrenheit. The next day we took the bus to the salt mines. It is an all day affair and extremely interesting just factually and historically. I would not miss this tour or do it on your own. It is very much worth it. The palace is also worth the time. The lines were not too long considering the Christmas Markets were in town. Krakow is very charming. It was not bombed during WWII and so all the buildings are original. The town was used for the Nazi headquarters during the war. It is a great town to travel to other areas to explore by bus or train. Poland is extremely friendly to Americans. They are fun. Love to sing and dance and quite welcoming.
