We walked to this beach from Alinda, maybe 3 km, what a great place, different to the other beaches we visited. It is sandy, free sunbeds, quiet, we did not want to go back!! And clear and very warm water for swimming????. Was surprised that it wasn't a lot of children as it seems just perfect for families.

Visited for the day in June 2019 and liked it so much, I returned to stay for a couple of days in September 2020. A beach of pebbles but easy enough to enter the water, the swimming is lovely. Fabulous views and interesting watching the coming and going of the yachts, the fishing boats bringing in their catch and it going straight into the kitchen of the lovely beach side taverna Aloni. There are a couple of other tavernas too. Changing cubicle and shower on the beach and some sun beds free to use if you have a drink or some food at the tavernas. You can get here on the quirky local bus with its distinctive tootle horn which sounds all along the route, a treat not to be missed! Well worth a visit, you too may fall under its spell!

All the beach bars on the sand here and lovely, and the water is very calm, and it never gets too windy (as some other parts of the island do).
