This park is very close to where I live so I walk there on a regular basis. It’s always fun to see the kids playing on the swings . There is a ramp for small fishing boats and there are always people fishing from the banks also. There is also a shelter for celebrations and parties .

City Center Church has dynamic worship, challenging messages, and classes and services for all ages. If you're looking for a church home, look no further! Let's do life together at City Center Church.
My family moved to KC from Texas in 2001 for a job transfer, and we didn’t know anyone here. We started attending City Center Church (then Lenexa Christian Center) and we were welcomed with open arms! We are in our 20th year here and we love our church! You can truly “come as you are” to this Holy Spirit filled church, hear Bible centered preaching, enjoy amazing and authentic worship, build friendships, and grow in your walk with Jesus Christ!

Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park is a wonderful community park in Lenexa. It has facilities offering a variety of recreational opportunities. Some of the main features are: Skateboard park, Disc golf course, Picnic shelters, Aquatic center, and Sand volleyball courts. In construction are Ice rink and tennis courts. The trails are concrete paved and good for walking running. The trails total approximately three miles long. The park is beautiful with a small lake called Rose Pond being the main feature; fishing is allowed with Kansas license. The pedestrian bridge across the pond is beautifully designed. Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park is very apt for leisurely walk or for active sports. It’s next door neighbor is the historic Legler Barn Museum.
